Leave a CommentHadn't got any calls for a while but now have received 2 in the last hour! Guess I'll contact the BBB and report them also!!! Wonder if they are up for a lawsuit?
I have received several calls from this number, I do not answer. it's better than the do not call list. then when i do not answer i come to this site and look up what other have to say and i usually confirm my first suspision that it is a number that i DO NOT want to talk to. thanks everyone!
I got a call from this number but when I picked up, no one was there. I too am on the Do Not Call list, but they called me on my cell phone (which is not registered). So I googled the number and found this website.
Called two days in a row. I answered the second day. The phone beeped on the line and then clicked and flashed like it was taking a photo of me. I have an iphone. Really weird.
Caller ID showed "Economic Recovery" but when I called the number, it was robo answered with "thank you for calling Canon Private Investors. What good is the Do Not Call registry if bozos like this group and others ignore the law and DNC does nothing about it?
This number has called my cell phone number repeatedly and it costs me each time they call.I would consider this harassment.
202-870-5010I have received a call from this number for several weeks now nearly every day. Noone answers, theres no automated message after 10 seconds or so it disconnects. I call it back and i either get a busy tone, or it goes through to an automated service asking me to input the extension number i wish to reach, but it wont let me speak to anyone. I am getting thoroughly aggrivated with this as I have filed a complaint with the Do not call registry now and hoping that they will investigate.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST so QUIT calling me!!!!
These people are common criminals and crooks. The victims are the weak and the suffering during hard economic times. It is sad, that our government does not protect us from these criminals. What good does having DO NOT CALL list or FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, they don't do anything about it. What a waste of taxpayers money and the crooks are free to do what ever they want. Please do not get involved with this criminals from 202 - 870 - 5010. They will offer services and ask for Credit Card or checking Account Information. Do not give them any personal information! ****-up! Together we can put them out of business and if we are lucky one day we can execute them in a public square to a cheering crowd!
I did not answer since i****umed it was a ***** call. I am on the do not call list as well. What good that does.
FYI You have the option to be registered on the National Do Not Call/Solicit List for 3rd Party Marketers. If you would like to take additional action to remove your name from advertising databases, you may call the National Do Not Call registry at 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 866-290-4236) or visit the www.donotcall.gov website. For Verizon cell customers: You may restrict text messages from being sent to your mobile number by registering your wireless phone number online at www.vtext.com. Once registered, you will have the ability to block up to 15 e-mail addresses, websites, domains, or wireless nicknames from sending you text messages. Simply sign in to www.vtext.com and click on the Preferences tab at the left of the screen, and select "Spam Controls" from the drop-down menu. You may also choose to block all web-based text messages and/or e-mail based text messages from being sent to your wireless phone. In order to prevent unwanted calls, you can c****e your mobile or you can restrict your phone calls to "Contacts Only". This way ***ody outside of your contact list will be allowed to call you.
I am on the DO NOT CALL registry for my cell phone and also DO NOT CALL from 3rd Party Solicitations so they can be FINED for calling me.
This number from Economic Relief, has now called our home 3x today within a few hours! First it was a LIVE female touting their home alarm system and I told her to take us off their list and we are on the DNC listing. I ***g up.Within 10 minutes s****ed the automated calls! There is apparently no way to get them to stop. I am going to try the Comcast Call block and see if that does it. Apparently it makes it so the call doesn't come through. Entering that number now to block!
Have had several calls from this number, but they leave no message. We just had to move, thanks to our landlord not paying the mortgage and the house was foreclosed on. I suspect calls from this number and several similar may be from people looking for him. We've only had our new phone number for 2 weeks and have given it out to no one.
Recorded message saying that Google had approved our company for placement on the top page or front page or so****ing..... I ***g up after hearing that much. Obviously a solicitor call
I have received several calls from w***ver this is and we ARE on the "Do Not Call" list. Can't someone make them stop?
Called at 12:47PM on 3/30/10. no message, when I tried to call the number back it was a disconnected number. SCAM
Received this call from Economic Relief, 202-870-5010 on 7/16 regarding credit card rates. ***g up. Received the same recording on a call on 7/22 from Service Call, 702-520-1466. First call area code googled from Washington, D.C., and second call from Las Vegas, NV.I am also on the Do Not Call Registry, but these jack***es keep calling me. I had a problem with these people calling a few months ago, all numbers googled back to FL. I kept pressing numbers to speak to a service rep, and they were all very rude and usually ***g up on me when I told them I was on the Do Not Call Registry.
The caller claimed to work for a company called Independent Account Services LLC based in Florida.I've been getting calls for at least 60 days. I am on the do not call registry and also ask each time I get a call to be on the do not call list. They inform me that they have a relationship since they work with all the banks that I could possibly have a credit card with, and are therefore exempt--which is bull. I have filed a complaint with the FCC to no avail.Their phone number used to show up as unknown on caller ID, then it had 954-555-1212 -the INFORMATION number for FLORIDA, now it has this DC number.
Female recorded voice called to say this is a call regarding your credit card without specifying which one and that it was not a debt collection, just a call to reduce your interest rate. Then went on to state that this is a one time opportunity that will not be repeated and to press #1 if you were interested and press #3 if you were not. I just ***g up, because 1. they did not identify which company they were from raising my su****ions and 2. putting pressure of stating this is a one time opportunity. I cannot identify the scam so far in my research, but I would not trust this caller.
