I received a call from this number on my cell.  I returned only to be told that the number "000-000-0000 had been c****ed to......"  Never gave a new number.  It is  a D.C. area code.

I've been getting the same message from these people about a credit card account. Normally I miss the call so I just hear the message and don't think about it, though I was worried because I don't have a credit card, right now I'm going through an iden***y theft process. And these people called today. I waited and pressed one. The man said, "Hello." I responded, "You have a credit card listed under my name and I did not sign up for a card." He chuckled then said, "You mean you didn't just purchase that 250,000 Maserati!" and ***g up. I was confused and ****ed! I came online to see if a business would pop up when I googled this number. No, it's a scam they want you're information DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!Just wish I could block this number(and any alternates that they use) so I wouldn't have to deal with these calls.

DO NOT ANSWER any questions from these people! I pressed 1 as the recording stated to tell a person to put me on their do not call list. When I spoke to a person, instead of saying she would put my number on  their list, she asked me "Who was the president after FDR?". I did not answer, but if I had, they would have a recording of me saying "Truman", which they could use as me saying "true" as a positive response agreeing to buy so****ing or place charge on my phone bill.

Received a call on my cell and did not recognize the number; ergo, did not answer it.  How do they get the cell numbers to make these unwanted calls?

I just recieved the same call and didn't answer no voicemail was left and when i  called it back i herd the repeating zeros... has anyone talked to an actual person over the phone when ansered..... Whats the point of their call??

i just got the same call from 202-870-5282, i didn't answer and when i called back it was the same answer, zero, zero, zero, zero, so****ing very weird and it's not the first time it happens, yes****ay i got a call from****-793-5628 and over the weekend the same thing happen, as always when you try to reach them back and find out what's going on you always get the same answer, either zero, zero, zero or it says right away that the line is busy or the line is not reachable, i hope this stop or at least help others to not answer

Got call from the same number last night around 8.  I DID protest a bill with my state senator yes****ay morning.  No voicemail was left.

the recording said so****ing about my credit cards even though i dont have one. when called back i got the"zero zero zero" and nothing else. i have called congresswoman debbie halverson of illinois.

I had the same experience.  That repeating zero, zero, zero thing was creepy. Like some scary movie or so****ing.  I have not pro*****d, called a congressmen or owe any money.  Great.  Now they (w***ver "they" are) are going to call our cell phones too.

I got the same call to just monents ago. Called it back and also got the zero, zero, zero...zero, zero, zero ****. I really wish there was  so****ing to stop this!

Yeah i just got a call from that number today and when i called back it said "The number you are calling.....zero zero zero....zero zero zero.....zero zero zero" and keeps repeating itself....idk what it is but i havent pro*****d a bill or anything i dont owe any debt collectors so who knows what it is? has anyone been able to find out any more info?

I was wonderingif anyone had any information on these phone numbers because yes****ay I had this number call me (1-202-870-5282). Then I had the 1-202-607-2*** number call me as well. Today I had the 1-202-870-5282 number call me a***n. I don't answer it, but when I tried to call back it said the number was out of service. I think that it is a calling card, because my daughter's ***her is trying to possibly harass me but does anyone know if this is the number that would show up as a calling card? Is this really some kind of fake debt collector?? Can someone give me more info? I would really appreciate a post. Thanks

did any of the previous posters contact a member of congress prior to receiving a call from 202-870-5282? i pro*****d a bill in the morning, got a call from this number within an hour of talking to my congressman. i called it back and it is no longer in service.
