at least twice a day.  but no one speaks

Here is what I was able to find out about AICR. It is a "charitable" organization with a donation program that is very similar to the March of Dimes program. MD contacts you, requests that you send out "only 10" letters to your neighbors asking for donations. Then your "neighbors" are asked tosend their donations back to you and you get the paperwork together and return to the organization. AICR has adopted this revenue generation  model & they are calling to see if you will agree to do it. I made the mistake of agreeing to do it for the March of Dimes and was told by my neighbors that they absolutely will not make contributions&  this way due to the fact that the money is sent back to a neighbor rather than directly to the organization. So far I have not been able to find a point of contact where I can get myself taken off their call list. An important thing to know about AICR-on a rating of charitable organizations, both March of Dimes AICR are only getting 2 out of a possible 5 stars due to this ****od of donating. I just found that little bit of info interesting.

This is from AICR.  They call 2-3 times a day from  different phone numbers.  Due to this annoyance I will never donate to this charity.

They keep calling and then dead air if I pick up. They call several times a day.

calls twice a day for weeks

AICR calls are coming 2 times a day EVERY F***ING DAY.I'm tired of these people. The American Cancer Research should be disbanned by law for being f***ing harrassing a**holes. Die of cancer all of you AICR members.

Getting calls once everyday from 202-870-5967 District of Columbia  Anoying!

These people call religiously, twice a day beginning at 9 a.m. and leave no message.  I got tired of the call with no message so I answered and immediately told them not to call me anymore.  They promptly ***g up with no apology, nothing.  Great way to respond when you're soliciting donations for a charity, huh?  They are blocked now.

what I wish these charities would understand is that if you haven't heard of them, haven't donated money, they have no reason or right to call you.

Also have gotten calls from them from 202-461-3452.  I don't answer.

If it is AICR, I get calls twice a day as well, mostly with the AICR listed as caller ID.  Just now, if it was them A***N, it was under the 2028705967 #, w/ Unknown listed as the name.  Horribly annoying.
