The call is from The CBE Group http://www.cbegroup.com/.  I have received 5 calls today (just s****ed today) and CBE was calling my cellphone, which is not legal.  Apparently, they have harrassed countless others, most not even owing anything; as you can see at this forum http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/collection-agencies/cbegroup.htmlThey make millions collecting debts for the IRS and student loan companies.

I received a call last night and missed it and on the voice mail the man left he said he was calling regarding my resume.  The first phone number he called on was a 443-453-7785 and then he asked for me to call the direct line to him at the 202-870-5976. Received a second call this morning and he left no message and used the 202-870-5976 number.  I to believe that this call is up to no good.

I've been receiving calls from This number as well as 757-990-8913. They are both from "The CBA Group" who is some type of debt collection agency. The 202 number is a D.C number and the 757 number is****ociated with Northern ******ia and Hampton Roads areas. I've called both of them back and I get a recording to hold on the line to "speak with a representative".

***UPDATE***I just called the number and verified that it is in fact CBA, who is a collection agency. I did not wait on the line to "speak with a representative" as the recording states (with a British accent). As I previously stated, I have no reason to be in collections. As they have just recently s****ed calling me, my best guess is that somebody used my cell phone number falsely on some type of credit purchase. Hope this helps.

This number has called me multiple times at all hours of the normal business day. I work a weird shift and I've tried calling the number back and I get a recording stating to call back during business hours. I've never had any student loans nor do I have any debt that I'm aware of. I'm****uming since it's voting season and it's a D.C. number, that it's so****ing to do with that.

call like 8 times a day or so****ing. at extreme hours as well. dont know what it is i never answer, and they never leave a voicemail.

They call all the time - I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago (not proud) - driving me nuts - I never answer either.

This is some company called the CBA Group. Probably some **** bill collector. Well, if he wants to investigate me I invite him to roll the dice & take his chances. I eat breakfast 300 yards from 6000 Cubans who are trained to harm me; so he can't just use his ghost number use his harassing techniques & scare me.
