keeps calling and not saying anything

They say I ordered medication from them, but I haven't. I blocked them on my phone, but every day at 11am the phone rings once. The phone call won't go through because of the block I put on the number. Still, it's ANNOYING!!

Just got a call from this number. They wanted information on Pain meds I had been prescribed in the past. I told them I didn't have anymore, and didn't need anymore.

Caller ID says Connecticut When it ****s up, leaves the message 'Goodbye' on the ma****e. Don't know who, but they are persistent (4 calls in less than a day).

We send call center jobs to india etc.... then these guys in india steal the info on our acounts. I figured that this seems to make the most sense to me. Now they are trying to make money over there with our info. :O

This en***y apparently called my cellphone at 3:43 p.m. today, 10/22, yet when I attempted to return the call at 4:00 p.m., I received a recorded message that "the number you have dialed is no longer in service!"

Tired of them calling and there being no one on the other end.

finally answered this call as this number calls at all hours of the day on my cell phone.....I answered for my business as it is a business cell phone and the guy didn't just say sorry wrong number but ranted on about how this number was ""given by an indivual interested in home based business opportunity and that they must be lying to us"" No legtimate business would rant on like this if it wasn't a scam artist trying to get a reaction from some ****er who would say well, I'm interested in that.....hopef­ully they'll be found and shut down. Annoying and rude; bad combination.

Keep getting call from this number. When I answer it is disconnected. If I try to call back, I receive a busy signal.

Don't know who it is but they call all hours of the night - it's a bogus number - when you try to call it back - it says ""sorry the number is not in service." ­Whatever! Then stop calling! I hate these companies.

I get phone calls from 203-201-2000.  It is a CT number out of New Haven.  I called my phone company and she said I can have the number traced and instructed me what to do.  Then the police can get involved.

Calls and doesn't answer or laughs hysterically and then ****s up. Calls often.

I am sick of receiving these calls. Why isn't someone doing so****ing about it. Each day - a new number that I don't recognise calls me at home. I never pick up as I don't recognise the number. Even so,it is annoying having to listen to the phone ring all teh time. I am on the Do Not Call List but obviously it isn't working.

Received two **** up calls  this evening (Sunday)from this number. When I attempted ot return the call a message stated "this number is out of service". Also received many other similar calls this week but from different numbers.Very annoying

203-201-2000 comes in from Connecticut, no name and just keeps calling, leaves no message on my ans ma****e.Other website said it was a scammer re: dish network, or credit card info, or ? personal info requested..I do NOT answer. Other people called back, line says "disconnected".

This number shows up on my caller id and when I answer there is a fax ma****e in my ear. If I let it go to voicemail then a ten minute message is left of just that annoying fax ma****e noise. My cell phone carrier is saying that they cannot do anything to stop these calls! I get about 20 in a row! UGH! Any advice?

Like a few people here, I got a call from a woman with a thick South Asian accent saying that I'd filled out a ballot at a grocery store or department store last July, and that I'd won a choice from 5 prizes -- an HD TV, $1000, or 3 trips. I was skeptical but I remembered that I had filled out one or two ballots in the last year, and the woman had my address. I told her that I would call her back, and she gave me a (647) number that I think is just a random person's cell phone, and they kept ****ing up on me... they I *69'd to get this (203) number. Pretty sketchy...

They claim that I agreed to a free business listing last year, and now they want money for services rendered. I told them I wanted to cancel, and they say I need to pay them. Now they're sending me a bill for $500. I was ****** and allowed myself to be recorded as agreeing to pay. I hope I can get this mess fixed!

This guy with a heavy indian accent says I have been selected as one of 5 lucky winners out of 170,000 ballots for a free prize. Hard to understand the prizes, a variety of trips in the US or $1000 - my choice. Says I filled out the ballot at a drug store, shopping mall, grocery store etc., probably in July. I had to pick a prize, get an authorization number and go to some address many miles away for a draw for this prize??? Very dod*** scam, I don't fill out these ballots. He got argumentative when I pressed for details, I ***g up, he called back, twice. So much for the do not call list! Beware the scam!

I got a call from this Phone no 203-201-2000 3.03 pm Sunday (11-23-2008).

Just recieved a call from a youn Indian male. Said he was a manager at RCA Electronics and that I filled out a ballot at a mall. I told him I never fill out ballots nor does my wife. He said ok and ***g out.

I asked him if he was aware of the Do not call list. He pretended to have trouble hearing and asked me if I spoke hindi. I ***g up. I get quite a few clowns from India calling me repeatedly to sell me a subscription to the Dish Network. This number might be some sort of VOIP gateway.

203-201-2000 is the number they called me from trying to sell me Dish, pretending to be "with Dish". I think it's an Indian calling from India using some sort of VOIP gateway. I am on the nocall list and I get 2 **** calls every day.

Caller ***g up once I picked up. Most likely a valid number search for telemarketing.

I have received several calls from this # 1st time it was in reference to my domain name stating he was canceling it and sending me a bill for the past 2 years for $500.00 now I just received a call from the same man stating I listed with them for a publication called the saturn exc****e and he was going to cancel and send me a bill for $500.00 for the last year publication, this man is insane he trys to get you upset arguing with you until you finally **** up on him.

A man with an Indian dialect called, he said he was calling to confirm our listing cancellation. He informed me that I would be receivng a $499 bill in the mail for the past year of service. When I inquired to the listing service he mumbled and said he would call back later. When I tried to call him back, a message came on saying the number I was calling was not a good number. Please file my complaint with the FTC.

Trying to sell Dish service

This caller called an asked for me by name. Then he went on to say "how is your ***ina". I will be lodging a complaint to the police.

Dude called my home at 10:00PM and left a message: "I love you... I LOVE YOU!" *69'd it, called, rang and rang, then began beeping. Sounded young in the message, probably a teen. I mean who else would have so much time to waste? This is a great site

October 3, 2008; Received calls three times within one hour between 8:00PM and 9:00 PM. First time the caller did not respond to my receiveing the call; Second time the caller was offering some promotional High s***d internet sevices - I declined but he was persistant and kept talking to which I thanked and said good-bye; Within the nest 15 minutes I received another call from the same number; I responded by saying*****o,*****o, and*****o; but there was no response from the caller so I ***g up. Was this call a mischief or simply ******ity? May God help this caller and guide him/her to right path, Ameen

This guy calls & said my company had a listing with them.He said that he had a message that I wanted to cancel the subscription & listing which I never had or agreed to.Said he would be sending me a bill for $499 for the time my company had been listed.Scam !!!

dish network. indian speaking man, he even offered to bring marijuana to home upon installation. i have called dish network using the # listed on their website. they don't really seem to care. what a loser company.

Just call a from this number - the guy on the phone used absolutely nasty words. I get these telemarketing calls almost every other day - trying to sell me Dish Network. They are extremely unprofessional and use foul language. I am already on Do Not Call list, told them about this many times, but they don't seem to care.

Got a call from this number and they new my dads name. These guys keep on calling us about dish network. He kept on asking me if I spoke urdo or hindi. I said I dont (even though I do). I told him to stop calling me and he said that he will keep calling me till I buy their dish network. ITS A BEWARE NUMBER, DONT ANSWER THIS NUMBER.

Got a call today several times.  Once no one spoke and other times they ***g up.  I get a lot of  those Dish Network idiots so I****ume it was them.  I use VOIP and just blocked the #.  There has to be a way to stop these scammers that are out of the Country.

This is a number that only scammers are using. I have been doing research in the last 2days and have seen this number on multiple scam ads. Alot of puppies for sale scammers are using this. I know because it just happened to my neighbor on Monday 5/5/08. The creap took her $250.00. Beware everyone. Tell everyone you know. Before you buy or say anything via over the phone or on the computer, please take time to research it. If someone calls you advise them that you will take their # and get back to them. Its sad that we as Americans are the first to help out other countries in a time of need, and yet we are being victimized by them everyday, by stealing our money.. We need to help each other out, and educate ourselves. I hope you all never fall into this trap. Remember do your research. The gov. websites list all of the scam frauds going on. and also give you tips... Hope this helps...

Have gotten two calls today from this number almost exactly one hour apart.  Missed both, when I try to return the call it was a number that had been disconnected.  Curious,  I am from Columbus OH.  Are the rest of ya'll from there as well?

Some guy called asking for my ***her. He was speaking in a foreign language, so I gave the phone to my mother, and he asked her if he can speak to her daughter. When my mother asked why, he ***g up. We don't know anyone in Connecticut or anywhere around there.

My wife got a call from this number, they guy harrassed her trying to sell a Dish Network package.  I reported this to the Do Not Call Registry.

Just got a call from this number today. The guy was hard to understand and I could hear a lot of people in the background. It sounded like a calling center. He said so****ing about purchasing gift cards over the holidays and my name was included in a drawing and we'd won gifts. No money required. I did not give him any information. I ***g up. I just got a call from this number as well, did a little reverse # look-up online and tracked the number down to Metrocall.  Went to their website and verified the number is a Metrocall wireless subscriber.  Sent a text message from the website as follows: PAGER ID: 2032012000 MESSAGE: Just got a call @ my home from this number. Did a little research online and seems like you call alot of peoples homes. Don't know what the call is about, but I am reporting through the Do Not Call Registry.

Just got a call at my work number.  All he said was "can you hear me" When I said yes he said "OK thats all I wanted to know."  Creepy.  Same thing...number out of service when I tried to call back.
