This number called me 6 times in 90 minutes without once leaving a message!

Consumer United brokering Home and Automobile insurance, apparently for various Insurance Companies. They **** up when I answer, but keep calling a***n, I stopped answering after the first two calls and finally they left a voice message about the insurance. just called me. Wanted me to hold for a rep . reason given: I asked for insurance rates. I ***g up.I continue to get calls from this number; 3 -4 times a aday and even at night.

I went online to purchase insurance; I did purchase it but since have been recieveing nonstop calls from this number. I puck up the phone and no one answers. I called back and it rang and rang and rant??? Doesnt make sense. Im sure it is Insurance but no one has yet identified themselves. I will ignore all calls from this number from now on. Its so similar t my friends number that sometimes I just pick it up but i like what the other responder did. She removed her number from the list. Im going to try that too,

They are connected to insurance inquiries. I entered my cell # for auto insurance comparison and within 5 minutes I was getting calls from all over the place.......but this one called at least 10 times and on different days.

Called four times in two hours on a Sa****ay morning, using this number and 860-308-1370. When I called both back to see if I could remove the number from their list got the same recording for Consumers United. This number took me to Paetec Communications listed in my state but on further investigations headquartered in Long Island, NY. They are a telecommunications, data carrier etc. I've blocked swit****g ability on my phone so that they won't show up but suspect they might have tried to do that (switch service providers). When I answered the last call they asked for someone not at my number and I told him that. He then "rephrased" and said, "oh, **** isn't available?". Nope, WRONG NUMBER. I asked him (politely) to remove our number and he said he would, but since there were multiple listing for this company very much expect a 5th-100th call.

Automated recording claiming I contacted them for insurance rates. Didn't even say who they were or what kind of insurance. Told me to hold the line for next representative and ***g up. Never asked for rates, my husband handles all that.
