(203) 922-1998

These guys keep harassing me too.  Several calls a day and late in the evening too.  They are using random digit dialers and they don't leave a message if it goes to the answering ma****e.  They have a block of numbers, I also get calls from a similar number (203) 922-1989 that come up as C T Maher Promo.  I did speak with them live one time when I picked up by mistake and the guy on the other end sounded like a real high pressure slimeball scam artist.  Because of these jokers I've stopped donating to any Police organizations, which is a shame.  I live near the "office" location that's listed for them on the web, 273 C**** Street, Sheton, CT Suite 460.  A "suite" sounds pretty ritzy, doesn't it?  A recent drive-by shows that #273 C**** Street is the skeeviest block in downtown Shelton.  #273 is an abandoned factory, and the only sign on #273 says "Keep Out" just like any company with "the highest degree of professionalism" would do.  If their constant harrassment bothers you, a complaint to the Better Business Bureau might help other people form an opinion as to whether or not this is the kind of charity fundraising that deserves their hard-earned dollars.

...and they are ****** & rude as*****!  They are (supposedly) collecting now for Bridgeport P.A.L..  I've explained many times that the person that they are looking to reach is only home in the evenings.  They continue calling during the day.  I am an MS patient & these calls are extremely bothersome.  They just ***g up on ME!!!! (They called me)   I, too, get a busy signal upon call back.  Calling the police dept. now, just to advise them the type of people soliciting funds for them.

I looked up the phone number (white pages reverse) and got "unlisted number."  But called-ID said C T Maher Promo, so I looked THAT up and found it's a telemarketer for charities.  Like Harris Direct, I guess.

Called both my lines at the same time. ID said Greenwich CT.

Got a call from 203-922-1998.  I answered and a female voice said, "You know what - take your mail and stick it."  The caller then ***g up.  When I tried to ring the number back I got a loud busy signal each time

CT Maher Promo called at 9:25 asking for a Mrs Thomas, I said there was no one here by that name. ( not our last or first name) their number was 203-922-1992. I asked what they wanted and they replied for a donation? It was a female caller. My bet is that they are a collection agency of some sort.

Called and asked for the MR. or Mrs. of the house (using my last name). It sounded as if they were disguising their voice. When I said that the Mr. and Mrs. were not home, they declined to leave a message. Very odd!
