Received 4 calls from 2039987000 today, ***ody on the other end. When I call back it says non working number. ****s!

These are robocalls which are illegal. Being on the National Do Not call list does not do anything with this scam. You can file a complaint with the feds, but try to track them down. These calls are made from a VoIP phone line. Some how they have it rigged to say that it is not a working number when you call back.

i've had three calls from them today alone. i'm convinced that one of the apps i have on my phone has sold my number. i NEVER got spam/telemarketing calls before getting an iPhone, but once i did they became a daily annoyance.

I like getting through to a live person, giving them fake information, letting them try to verify and then telling them that they can keep calling and I will keep wasting their time. It's awesome when the expletives s**** ringing out when they realize you've wasted their time...

(203) 998-7000 Stamford, CT. This number called my iPhone twice in the past two days. The past few weeks, I've had A LOT of calls from other random numbers, mostly from Illinois, Minnesota, ******ia, California, and even Alberta & Ontario, Ca***a. When this s****ed, I would ignore the calls, thinking "it's either a wrong number or a solicitor (although I'm on the Nat'l Do Not Call Register) and if its of any importance, they'll leave a voice message". Of course, they never left messages. After a short time, I answered a few of these calls out of curiosity. And after about another week or two, I believe I made the mistake of calling back one of these numbers out of frustration and am afraid this has only increased their frequency! UGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. I have a prepaid plan and don't answer because I don't want to use up my minutes. This is so frustrating. My phone is listed on the do-not-call register.

Since I do not know anyone in area code 203, I do not pick up, especially since they call on my cell phone. They leave no message, so I guess it must be REAL IMPORTANT for them to reach me.
