Why call my home?

I answer but they **** up... happens all the time.***** I once filled out a "Diane Savon" survery... or so****ing like that.  (You could win $500 if you return survey immediately- I fell for it.) *****After that, I was getting a lot of unsoliciated calls... doors and windows, duct cleaning, winning trips and other prizes, etc.Anyone else have that happen to them?

Received another call from this number. I sent a SMM stating that I would seek legal action if I received another solicitation. I don't appreciate cold calls on my business cell number. If I wanted the paper I would simply purchase one at a news vendor. Besides, who has time these days to read the paper?

Get calls from this number too ... comes up on my call display as Manitoba 204-477-0924.  When I call back I get a recording that my 'call cannot be completed as dialed.'I'm going to answer the call next time and pretend I can't speak English, maybe they'll take me off their list.

"Tim" calling from the Globe and Mail, offering monthly subscriptions.  Polite and pleasant enough, but if you're not interested you should say so right away; I found it difficult to get a word in edgewise until after he had his "why this deal is super" s***ch.  I asked if they had a "do not call" list and he said they had an internal one since G&M is considered "media" and isn't subject to the CRTC DNC list.

Call me all the time.  This week they have called every day.  Some of us work nights and have to sleeps during the day.  I do not want to shut my phone off if an important call has to come thru but for this number to call and never say anything, I have had enough.

Calls often. Last time I just listened and a woman's voice said "Hello?" and then ***g up. Most annoying. Called back and message says number is not in service. Sure.

204-477-0924We are sick of you and every other telemarketer that calls.  We won't answer.  You won't get anything from us.  This type of telemarketing is a white collar version of stealing.  If you do it, you are leading a life of crime.

I keep getting calls from this number I am deaf and have phone for emergency contact only. I wish they would stop calling me.

Called but missed it. Not sure who it is then. Called at night so must be masked number for telemarketer so you can tell the gov't banned list who they are and have them fined or block them from harrassing you. Someone pick up next time and find out who they are.

I've added the number (and a  couple of other annoying callers)into my phone's directory with DO NOT PICK UP as the name so everyone in the house knows not to answer!! lol Any truth to the****or that they get paid each time someone answers their call?

This number has been calling me at least twice a day for at least the last two weeks.  I always ignored it, until today when I finally answered... it promptly ***g up.

I figure they do this to find out if you are home and then another number calls you back within a short time with a tape message about your credit "Hullo, this is an important message about your credit card..." trying to get people to pay for so****ing (but I **** up). First time in a while I've had this, but expecting that 2nd call within the hour. WVanc BC PS I expect they read this as part of their research so maybe this'll push them to a new, annoying tactic--sorry all.

I live in area code 289 (Hamilton, ON) and was called by a man on this number who tried extremely hard to sign me up with the Globe and Mail. I first thought, why is someone in Winnipeg doing this? I refused, and ***g up while he was saying, 'so what's the holdup.?I phoned the number back and got a 'not in service' message.

I keep getting calls from this number, when I answer no one is on the other line. They call at every week during the day or in the evening. I tried calling back but the number doesn't connect to anywhere.

I get a call from this number at least once a week, usually in the evening.  If I answer, they are too slow in responding so I **** up on them.  It's very annoying.
