Wanted too much information from me. When I tried to reverse search the number, it does not exist.

I TOO just got a call from this number. There was dead air. I did a google.ca search on the # and got this thread. Thank God for Google.ca... thank you everyone.

Got a call from that # this morning. I never answered because I didn't recognize the #. A reverse phone # search gave me nothing. W***ver it was left a very brief garbled message and it sounded like they were yelling. I then learned that the 204 area code is from Manitoba, Ca***a where I know absolutely no one. I was receiving calls of this nature a few months ago but from 2 different numbers. This is what I pay for an unlisted # for? I did however, report it to Bell Ca***a.

I took a call for my wife and the caller, David Roy (heavy Indian accent)(Manitoba area code - but) and he tried to engage me, insisting he would reduce our Visa interest to 6%.  To make a long story short, after many questions from me that he never answered  I ended up talking to his supervisor ***d Martin(also Indian accent) by which time I had accessed this site (consumer credit advocate - user feedback). I s****ed reading the responses (didn't let him interrupt) and asked if he would like me to read him several more.  Of course he said no and that shut him up and he ***g up.I suspect they are actually calling from India but it doesn't matter.  I still don't know exactly what their scam is but that doesn't matter either!  Try the above for a giggle or just **** up on them

I got the same call, but I did not give any info.  I was told that because I pay my balances on time I qualified for a lifetime rate of 6% .  I asked what credit card they represented and was told visa and mastercard.  I called one of my credit card companies and was told that since I did not give out any personal info, I shouldn't be worried.All I did was verify I paid my balances in full and on time.  I sure hope there isn't any kind of phone fraud involved with this.

Same East Indian accent, provided and number and a website when I asked questions.  d onot give info.  When I asked them to provide me with my personal info for confirmation they ***g up on me.  Call your credit card company and ask for a new card RIGHT AWAY!

Got a call from this number today.  Same old sad story of being from Visa AND Mastercard.  Like two rivals would ever work together and ask for identifying information over a phone with an East Indian accent.  I may be blond but not f'ing ******.

I have checked this out with visa and mastercard and have been advised to not give info to this firm . Stong odour of fi*****

I too received a call from the scammers. A Manitoba based phone number rea****g into northwestern Ontario claiming to work for both Visa and Mastercard. When I called back I got a claim (with the same accent) claiming to be from customer service. Classic. When I asked what customer service he was from - he could not answer definitively.

Hi this company called me and said they would send me info on increasing my limit and decrease my interest rate (I should have known better when we have never had to pay interest cause we always paid our bills on time) they got info from me because I thought they were calling on behalf of Pc financial the scary part is they had most of my info on file yikes!!!! Right away I called Pc Financial and they said never give that info over the phone because They Pc financial will never ask for it.  It sounds really official the person I was dealing with was supposedly named Veronica Matthew( she has an Indian Accent )  and the name of the company is Platenium Enterprise. They are very smooth please always go with your gut and never ever give info out no matter what I was lucky as I called in time and they did not take any money.

Don't deal with those as hole, they are fu... theft  and they charge my 299 $ on my credit caed and I cancel my credit card right after that and they call me a wek after because they tried to take more money and I told them that I wanted a refund and the person told me that the customer care will call me back within 24 hours and they never did. I call the 2 numbers I have and they told me that tey are a construction company and they are the same  peoples that I sopke with f***... indian peoples. I call the same number before and I spoke with someone presuming bedford financial sevices. I will probably won't able to get my money fron thos e indian baster.

I contacted my credit card company about this phone #. It is a scam and they are well aware of it. I asked them who else I should contact about the scam and they told me not to worry saying they were well aware of it and were working on it, but they were very glad I didn't give these people any info about my card. I did call this number back however just to ask a them a few questions of my own. They claimed to be located in California (with a Manitoba phone #) and could not give me a business name (they claimed to be BOTH VISA and Mastercard when they called me lol) The part that made me laugh especially hard when they first called was that she told me because I was such a good customer (paying on time for the last 6 months)they were going to reduce my interest rate for the REST OF MY LIFE!! lol like a credit card company gives a **** enough about six months worth of on time payments to offer LIFETIME intrest rate lowering.

I just had a call from them saying they were calling about my Visa but they never said a company name, said I'd been an A1 customer and wanted to lower my interest rate. However they didn't even know my current interest rate. Sounded very fishy, going to call my cc company about it.

Reported it to my credit card company!  It is a scam!!  DO NOT EVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION!!!

They just called me claiming to be Visa AND Master Card... (didn't realize they did business together)  and then told me that because I was so good at paying my bills on time that they were going to reduce my interest rate... FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!  what a DEAL!  ****... I smelled scam and ***g up and am calling my credit card company now.

Said it was my mastercard company.  Funny I have not had a mastercard in years,  I ***g up and in the process of reporting it to Mastercard.

The same thing just happened here. The caller didn't identify herself yet she immediately s****ed to ask about my Mastercard and Visa. She was after my address and the expiry dates of my credit cards. I told her that I couldn't give this information out over the phone. I called Bell Ca***a to ask if they could tell me where the call had come from but they showed no interest whatsoever in trying to help me. I've called the police and left a message there (they don't answer the phone here. I see this as a major problem.

I also got a call from this # saying someone is spending money on my CC. i don't have any credit so thought it was fishy...

They keep calling my mother. She is going on 90 years old. She is confused and they surprise her unexpectedly. She doesn't always remember to **** up. They tell her she is not secure with her pin numbers and that she needs to enter new information. If she says she has to leave, they ask her where she is going!!! Why the ru***** This causes her stress and she calls me after being all upset.
