I received an email from GeeksOn Site saying a Geeks on Site Protection Plan was being renewed for 2 years at 199.00 USD. The email address was a red flag that it was a scam. Looks like they use the same number for different scams. Glad I found this site!

Thanks everyone for posting here. I received an email saying that my subscription to "GeekOnSite" would automatically renew for the amount of $159.99. I suspected it was a scam, so I Googled the number this site came up. You've saved me the time and frustration of calling to see what's going on. Fair warning: they have a website that looks legitimate. I checked there before coming here.

Received Subscription/Renewal Notice email for a service I never ordered. Googled the telephone number in the email and here I am. Thank you to everyone for posting their comments and confirming that this is a scam email.

Same type of renewal notice as everyone else received. Mine was a 2 year plan for $199.00. They show the amount to be charged as 199USD rather than $199.00. Another tipoff that it is probably a scammer. Appreciate having your website to use as a resource.

EMail: telling me my subscription was going to auto renew today unless I called the number. One of the better phishing attempts--no spelling errors until the 2nd paragraph.

Obvious scam. I reported it to FBI

SCAM. Decent email but used 'u" instead of "You" so easy to pick up as crooks. Called anyway, young woman which is not typical. Lots of chatter in background so another tip off as scam

Renewal of a service I never had. Computer repair. This came as an email and I called the number with a threat to file a lawsuit and take it up with my credit card company. I asked which credit card and they refused to answer. Clearly this was a spam call.

I received an email March 15th from GeeksOnSite about a Total Care Software 2 year subscription renewal. The email told me to call this number to cancel the subscription. I have never made any such subscription. This is the first I have even heard of Geeks On Site. I also received an email the day before concerning the same subject, but it had different details.

Said they were going to charge me for some subscription unless I called to cancel. I googled the number and here I am. Thank goodness for this site to confirm my su****ions of spam!

Email received to tell me that I will be charged $449.99 for the next 36 months subscription. If I wanted to cancel I had to call this number. Super obvious scam right there. Don't call!!

Received an email regarding my 2 year renewal paypal account an that they charged me $480.00 and to call back if I want to cancel it.

Wanting me to call about an order for an electric skateboard which I never ordered and I don’t even have a PayPal account

Email from a Gmail account claiming to be from PayPal confirming my $4800 purchase of television and its shipment. Never made the purchase. Phone number listed to contact to cancel sale.

Saying I had order a dell labtop with charges and delivery date and charged to my paypal. I do not have a paypal.

Received an email noting a purchase of a skateboard I did not order and said that I had paid it via PayPal. There is a number to call if I have any problems, which I'm not going to call.

FAKE Paypal email saying to call this phone number if I have any questions related to an order I never placed.

Sent an email to my sister regarding a recurring charge renewing Paypal account, over $4,000. She doesn't have a Paypal account and they wanted to log into her computer to verify. Total SCAM. Called them back and told them they were not logging into my computer or my sister's computer and they ***g up on me.

Outrageous charge for a Mac. I don’t have a Pay Pal account.
