SBA collections automated call. They call same times, every day, twice a day!
Yeah I get anywhere between 3 and 8 calls a day from this number. Have never and will never take money from the SBA.I want to track down that machine and smash it up office space style, and then find whoever keyed in MY phone number against some loan... and set them up to receive automated phone calls with no ability to contact a live person.I looked up the SBA number online (the one they give in the phonecall is to *surprise* the same automated system), but they asked for what state I live in, and gave me another number to call...Will try to get to the bottom of it, but honestly I am to the point of blocking the number also. Ridiculous.
I continue to receive calls from this number and others that state they are SBA. I do not have an account with these people. However, an individual used our number as a contact after Katrina cause their phone was out for a long period of time. From what I gather, they are a disaster relief business that provided low interest loans for homes. Just by chance did you guys allow someone to use your number as a contact? They are a pain in the butt though, because even though you have told them not to call this number anymore, it does't sink in to their thin skulls. Get harsh, tell them they have 24 hrs to stop calling or further action will happen!!
My son is 15 so he obviously doesn't have an SBA loan. But we can't get in touch with anyone to make them stop. Frustrating harrassing annoyance calls. My cell phone provider said to report harassment calls to the police and to have the number blocked, I have to pay $4.99 per month!!!! The nerve!!! The government gets a cut in this because of course we have to pay tax on this!!!
Received phone calls every day at 8:30 a.m. for another person, no way to talk to anyone
This is a business line( Insurance company) this automated system keeps calling this number as well. It is very annoying to have your phone line at works rings , only to recieve an automated garbled line. I do not nor ever had a FEMA loan. I wished that this could be handled so that innocent people could not recieve these calls.
This number is an automatic calling number from the SBA to tell 'you' your loan is overdue. Problem is, I don' have an SBA loan. No name is said, and the loan number is garbled, so you can't write it down and call back, because you can't get in without the loan number!!!!!!! I've been getting this number calling me almost everyday, and it is VERY stupid.
This is a collection 'auto call', but I don't have an SBA loan, but I keep getting the calls. No name is mentioned, and the loan number is garbled - so I can't write it down. I would LOVE to block it, or have a way to tell them they are dialing the wrong number!!!!!!!!!! The problem is, this is my 'on call' number, and I have to jump when it rings.
dont call again
NONE
had a phone call from this number today (August 20th, 2008)at 4:14pm arizona time which is 6:14pm Alabama time...really? who at the SBA works after 5pm not to mention that I actually do have an SBA account but! they aren't out of alabama - they are out of Denver. so... how do they know that?interesting.who is selling our information? or stealing it? how safe is all of our information? things to ponder.
Yes this is SBA i received this phone call for a late payment.
I'm with Sheila on this one. It's a late payment to SBA. I also received assistance from FEMA via SBA. I got the call and missed it, but googled the number. I am late on the paymnt so it makes sense.
I have recieved several phone calls from this number but missed the call each time and there has never been a message left. I see that someone posted that they listened to a recorded message that said "SBA" and someone else listed that it was a government agency...well, I think I know what it is. I was a flood "victim" ( I prefer "survivor") for a nationally recognized natural disaster and recieved FEMA funds. FEMA funds are through SBA (Small Business Administartion). I have a monthly payment and if the payment is even 7 days late they will definitley call you. Twice I paid 10 days late and still recived notices in the mail and phone calls about the account. So, that's my take...
Noticed telephone number on caller ID on the dates 24th and 25th of December; Caller ID said U.S. Government. What agency of the U.S. Government would call on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and not leave a message.
Left 3 messages. Once I answered and it said something like this,"This is the SBA This message is for_____(no name mentioned)your account___________(gave a number)is 18 days overdue as of September 24, 2007in the amount of $170.00, please start pressing numbers..."This is a scam, especially to the elderly...Am I reporting it now? Should I report to the FCC?Help!
They call 7 times a day and nobody ever talks
Automated message but nobody ever gets on the line
never get to talk to any one
