Called and it was an automated message from Google, Yahoo etc. wanting to talk to the Business Owner to claim our online listing. Wanted you to press 1
yes they called and wanted me to do it but I said Google is not my favorite site to go to
Has anyone asked for their business license number? Aren't they required to give that?
Automated dialer trying to get you listed on search engines.
I received an automated call from this number at work. It said they were calling from Google and we had not claimed the website they had reserved for us. It was obviously bogus, so I ***g up.
They called me multiple times a week about Search Engine Optimization. After trying to be removed from the automated system multiple times, I finally talked with Denise and asked her politely to remove me from the list. She said she did, but I would continue to get calls because my company wasn't on Google's first search page. I then asked for company information that she didn't give. She then tried to tell me that I was receiving calls from multiple companies and it had only been her company that was constantly calling.
