Leave a CommentSame **** as the rest of you. I have never actually answered the phone, but after the first message I checked my loan status and I was fine. Downloaded an ap and blocked the number. Blissfully quiet for a couple of months and then back to it. I know shes lying cus I just recieved paperwork from my loan provider that stated my payments are due s****ing in APRIL! These people are idiots. Im blocking them a***
I have told them on numerous occasion to stop calling me....
They have called me everyday, 1-4 times a day. The loan isn't even due to be paid back until the end of September. I have repeatedly asked them not to call, I don't need any help and they REFUSED to stop calling me. They told me they had to get the request from my college. I contacted the college and they sent out two emails and called a supervisor to get them to stop calling me. They called a***n this morning. I asked them for their address, to send the following letter, and they refused to give me their address. I asked to speak to a supervisor(who didn't get on the phone) and was told they couldn't give me the address but they will remove my name. I don't believe them. So, hopefully this will help anyone else in this situation. This is considered a solicitation call and according to the TSA and the TCPA, you can send a letter comparable to this and s**** charging them for the phone calls. As soon as I get their address(and hopefully I will), I will not only send this to them, Certified Mail, but I will post their address to help others in my situation. To Whom It May Concern:Please limit your communication with me in writing only. If I receive any live telephone calls, or repeated dialing and ****-ups from your computer dialing systems, I will consider them to cons***ute harassment. Please be advised that unwanted telephone calls are a class 1 misdemeanor in this state and I will file a complaint a***nst the caller (individually) and your company with my state’s Attorney General. I maintain a telephone log of each call and calls attempted by your automatic dialers.Notice: This letter serves as written notice that I will make an audio recording of your call. Please be advised that you have the right to remain silent. If you ignore this notice and contact me by telephone, you and your employees agree to allow me to make the audio recording of our conversation. You, and your employees, agree to allow said information to be used a***nst you in a court of law.I further demand a copy of your “written policy” for maintaining the “do not call” list, as required by the Telephone Solicitation Act (“TSA”) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA”). Federal Statutes impose a $500 fine a***nst unwanted telephone solicitation. I do not want you to call me. If you call me, you agree to pay, on a for-hire basis, my telephone and equipment and time in answering your call at a rate of no less than $500 per call. I will only accept your written communication.Be advised that I am not requesting a “verification” that you have my mailing address; I am requesting “validation” (competent evidence that I have some contractual obligation to you). The Federal Communication Commission can issue citations and fines a***nst companies and individuals found in violation the FCC rules or TCPA guidelines. Please govern yourself accordingly.Sincerely,
Yes, I also received and spoke to the same noisy and rude lady of this 205 314 1081 phone number. I have already registered my phone number on the Unwanted calls list, and here I am getting this ****** calls from scammers like these people who are mostly targetting minorities and foreign residents. Is there any way that the FBI could go and ***t down these Miserable Scammers? If someone can****ist in bringing these people down, that would be greatly appreciated.
I received a second call at 10AM today from this number and answered it... the woman claimed to be with Student Loan****istance and that they were hired by my college to****ist with student loan payments. She then went on to tell me that my payment was past due and wanted to offer help... I stopped her right there and said that's not possible. I even looked it up online real quick while on the phone with her to confirm. I'm paid ahead and so my payment isn't actually due for a couple months. Anyway, after I argued that point she kept insisting they heard from my loan provider on the 15th. I just kept saying her info is wrong. Out of frustration I then said that I did not need or want their services and to stop calling. She immediately snapped back saying that they will be calling back and ***g up... There's a scam brewing here... Do not give them any information!
I have been getting calls from these ****s the last few weeks. The voicemail they leave makes reference to "helping you with your student loans from ABC University." My v.m. box CLEARLY states no telemarketing calls but of course they don't care. They called a***n today (always during normal business hours when I'm at work) and spoke to my husband. He told them to stop calling our house because I haven't attended "ABC U." in two years and that my loans are deferred because I'm still in school. They told him that they will continue to call until I tell them to stop. So, I called them today and told them to stop. They THEN told me they could call me because my student loans are NOT deferred (which is ****, because they ARE deferred and I am well aware of my financial statements). I finally had to tell the snotty chick - LOUDLY AND CLEARLY - that my loans ARE deferred and that they are harassing me. I then screamed at her to remove me from the (expletive) list and stop calling me. So far, it's been five minutes and they haven't yet called! If anyone else has heard from these idiots I would love to know about it. I think what they are actually trying to sell is a loan package.
Several calls from this number and it is beginning to bother me
