Received a call,and when I answered, the call was aborted by the caller; nothing was said before the line was dropped. Sounds like spam to me.

Got a call from this number, left no message, I called the number back to a dead pickup then the call was dropped, ever since been getting a blocked number calling.

Received call today (2/14/2012), do not know who or why they are calling(do not want to know).

It's a computer calling

They leave no message. That's why I think it's more of a scam than true collection. If it is a legitimate debt collection, they would actually be accommodating instead of avoid leaving messages. I have them set on my cell phone with the "mute" ringtone therefore I'm not bothered with them.
