Leave a CommentI received 9 calls from this number on my business line in the last 3 days, plus several last week. Several voicemails asking for a particular person. when i called the number back to tell them there contact information was not good, he identified himself as Max Morris. I looked up on other websites, and have found numerous complaints for this number as a payday loan scam. he calls attempting to extort money from you based on supposed past due payday loans claiming they will have you thrown in jail or your driver's license revoked. The number has only in the last 3 hours been disconnected, but beware if you you see this number come up
When I looked the number up it came from the New York area. You are right they become beligerent when I asked to provide doucmentation, they have called me several times, I do not answer
said his name is max morris. never had a payday loan before this is a scam dont fall for it. unfortunately this has been going on for about 2 years for me now. prob going to c****e my number b/c of it.
got the same call saying they had warrants out for my arrest for federal fruad online banking and check fraud took my id to police they ran it and said there are no warrents that this is a scam
They are doing me the same way why are they doing that to me
I received a call from this number at work. They left a message on my voice mail. He stated his name as David Jones and he was calling about my case from the Crime Center. This is a scam. They try to extort money from you claiming you have an unpaid payday loan. They cannot provide any do***entation to support their claim and when you ask for it they get beligernt and tell you to pay or they will have you arrested and revoke your driver's liscense. They can't do any of this, there is no debtor's prison in the USA nor can they revoke your driving permit as only your State has the power to do that. Reported them to the FTC and my local Attorney General's office. The call originates from a call routing center in Bessemer, AL but the call actually comes from overseas. Probably Al-Quida trying to extort money out of innocent Americans to support their terroist activities.
