They offer a wireless security system. They keep calling. Most definitely spammers.
If you answer the call from phone number 205-561-2454 an automated recording begins with an 'alarming' message quoting the FBI's Statistics with Percentages of Crime in your area. Then it 'calmly' offers you 'security' if you'll let them place a sign in your yard for safety in your neighborhood. The recipient is then prompted to "press 1' on the keypad for more information. If you do press '1' the call transfers to a live Representative. If you do not take the call then, but - instead - place a 'call-back' to the number 205-561-2454 you will get a recorded message prompting you to "press any number on your keypad if you do not want to receive these calls". FYI: You will not reach a live Representative so that you could tell them not to call you. And PLEASE BEWARE: DON'T follow the prompt to "press ANY number on your phone dial pad" -- as an FCC Rep told me -- it will only add your phone number to call lists being sold to more scammers & telemarketers and you will get more unknown & unwanted callers! WindStream, who owns this phone number, told me the only way to stop calls from 205-561-2454 is to contact WindStream (at 1-877-340-2600, ext. 7733) and request that they notify 'their customer' with your Do Not Call phone number. You should also file a complaint with the FCC, the FTC, and, the State of Alabama's Attorney General's Office; you can find the phone numbers and web-sites to all of these via the Internet.
I received a call from this number at work through my work email/work number, but I didn't think anything about it until I received a call from the same number on my personal cell phone. I didn't answer, but did notice that it showed "Tuscaloosa" as the location of the call. I finally called it back, but got an error message from Verizon. I find it disturbing that someone/something has access to my personal information that is linked to my cell as well as my work. I never give out my work number because I rarely use it, and only give out my numbers to people I know. This is so strange and kind of creepy.
thay keep calling me
Received a call from this number but didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. Called right back but the call disconnected immediately.
adrian rowser is name that comes up on my caller id,

same... spam call about a security system
Got a call from this number as did my wife and neither one of us answered. Twenty min later a guy knocks on the door and wants to put a sign in my yard for advertisement of a security system for free. I look up the number and it's a number about free security signs. One heck of a coincidence. Anyone else have this happen?
Loud and obnoxious it starts out "FBI", "Police", "breakin".....
I press (1) to let them know take me off there list.
The guy want to proceed with is sales pitch asking me, why I pressed (1).
Then starts to argue with me.
Finally I say - DO NOT CALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, on my cell phone..
Voice was synthesized and was offering a free home security device. and dropped the word "FBI,several times before I could disconnect the caller.
This clown needs to spend some time before a judge and ina small cell with "Brutus".
robo call regarding a sign in your yard and free alarm service. yeah right.
This number 205 561 2454 is a SCAM. I get phone calls from this number several times a week and I wait for someone to say something and they don't. I stopped answering. I was told that the call comes through and someone on the other end will try to keep you on the phone so that the caller can track your information or connect someone else from their country to your call and use your air time. Seems true being that they keep calling and not saying anything.
Recording said FBI says there is a breakin to homes every 15 min please let them put a sign in my yard. WTF? Who is this Bro?
Received call to cell phone. Did not answer. They did not leave a message. Called number back and heard recording saying to press any digit to be removed from list.
