I work for University of Alabama Health Services Foundation (UAHSF). This is our phone number. We bill for UAB/Kirklin Clinic doctors. We are the business office not a collection agency. If we're calling its regarding a past due bill. Legally due to the HIPPA Law we have to verify the info before discussing the balance even though its on our computer already. This is only to protect the privacy of our patients.

Got a call from this number and the lady said she was with UAB billing department and could I please give her my date of birth and mailing address so she could look up my file!  Are you serious?  Wouldn't you think if they were calling to discuss a bill they would have the file in front of them?
