I received calls on 6-22-09, 9-24-10, 9-26-10 from this #. They have called late at night staying on the line, and NOT saying anything exscept for some type of Ebolic sounds.

Here's the real answer:  That number is for a BellSouth computer center in Birmingham, AL.  This is the center that processes your calls for your Privacy Manager on your line.  If a number that has Caller ID blocked tries to call you, then the computer intecepts the call and calls you first, giving you the options to accept or reject the call by pressing the coresponding number. Most government offices (Fed, State and Local) have their ID blocked. The most common reason it keeps calling you is usually because someone with a blocked id is trying to send you a fax and it autodials when it fails.  Turn off your Privacy director (1-888-575-6677) and maybe it will stop.  (ATT, in its' infinite wisdom and technological advanced operation says it may take up to 24 hours for the c****e to take effect-). Don't forget to turn it back on if you want it.

I keep getting a call from 1-205-970-0233 every night around 7:30pm.  It shows to be privacydirect.  You have to push a 2 or 3 but then you are disconnected.  This must be some sort of scam.

calls every night...we have the dnc list? why the calls?

A Mortgage Broker with "QUICKEN LOANS" called me from this number. I went to the NCAC requarding a remodification loan and inquired on the net about refinancing my mortgage and this has been happening every since.  It is a computerized message asking you to call back and not leaving a complete phone number. It s****s every morning about 8:30 A.M.

I am on the list for dnc...what is going on?  Help

These ****** from 205-970-0233 called my house at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm last night10/20/09.  I have kids that live out of town and a call at that time of night is frightning.  What can be done to make them stop?  I am on the list already for do not call.

These a**holes call at least once per day and I NEVER answer it . . . I don't have any idea who it is and I don't care except that I am on a do not call list . . . IDIOTS

Someone from this number calls my house every day, at least once a day.   Sometimes a recording comes on if I answer.   If I am not at home, they make the answering ma****e come on, but they do not leave a message.

I keep getting calls numerous times a day. Claims to be Nielson TV rating company. Says to press 1, 2 or 3.When I picked up, someone ****s up. Suspect illegal activity because they are clearly not who they claim to be.
