Leave a CommentSo now I know what this bull 52549693 number that calls my phone about 4-5 times a day on average is. Next time I plan on answering it, cutting them off before they can say anything an informing them I will be having their calls traced through the authorities if they ever call my number a***n.
I got a call from the 52549693 a few times and picked up today. Some guy telling me he was from the US government and I got a 7,000$ grant. He then told me my name and address and asked for my marital status and age. I was already su****ious. When he next asked for my bank information, I ***g up on him and now that ****** number keeps ringing my phone....
I got a call from this 52549693 number. Not even a full 10 digit number, not sure how they did that one.Guy said I was qualified for the 7,000 because I'm a "good citizen".. last time I checked this was not the case but anyways. He immediately s****ed asking for bank account info. I told him he was smoking ***** if he thought I was going to give him my info without verifying who he / they were. Told me to go to www.usgrants.com (Which is for sale by the way) and that I would get the call back numbers from there.I hit the site while he was on the phone and said I don't see any call back numbers and asked him for one. He mentioned that they call from a computer and the number on my caller id was random. (Hmm.. ) so i went back and forth with this guy looking for some "verification" info and he finally just ***g up on me.I could hear what sounded like a video game in the background. And what's funny is that he called me by the wrong name to s**** off with. Definitely a scam.
I to received a call from someone sounding like they were from India. My call came from this number though : 52549693 Not knowing where the call was coming from I answered it.Upon taking the call I was told that I was chosen for a government grant that I didn't have to pay back ( $7,000 dollars ).The person on the other end knew my full name ,age and address.I was given a confirmation code and the number 202-697-9033 and was told to speak to a man named David Henry .I told them that I did not have a bank account and then was told I would get a check..This David character then asked me what time it was ( Hmmmmm , this is where I got su****ious ) .After telling him it was 7:45 pm he said well the banks are closed now so would I please call back in the morning .Although I love getting free money like the rest of the people in this country I hate calls like this. You never know what is truth and what is not anymore
I did received phone call from this F........Indian person offering me $7,000 as a gift grant from government.Asked me to call the same number back to setup up account for the automatic deposit of $7,000 to my account. Very smart but ****** people at the same time. It is a perfect scam!
It's a scam, got the same phone call for a $7000 grant, probably the same indian woman. After I told her I thought it was a scam, she directed me to this same number, and the guy answered just as you said. I told him they could mail me the check, and he said it would be delivered the next day by a FedEx guy, but first I would need to contribute $99 to a charity for kids. BULL. I live in Texas, why would they be calling me from WA, and at 7:00 at night, and why do I need to deposit money into a mysterious account first? I've gotten about 3 other calls like this before, and this one was the most creative, but definitely a scam. Hope you did not fall for this, and anyone else reading this who gets the same call, be warned. These people should be in jail
I received a call from an "India" speaking woman who claimed that I was selected to receive a free $ 15,000 for being a wonderful citizen. First, she confirmed my address, then may name, age, and then proceeded to ask to wire the money into my bank account. I suggested that she mail me the check. The she provided an approval code KL001 and this phone number (206-201-2138) and requested that I call it after ****ing up with her and provide the phone number with my approval code to get the free $ 15,000. She also kept telling me the $ 15,000 will never have to be paid back ....I then called the number and the person answered "US Goverment Grant Office." I gave him my approval code and am awaiting for my mysterious free check. If you get a call from this person please post.....Thank God I Did Not Provide My Account No.
