This company (Terrace Law Office, Iden***y Theft Company, ***tington Law firm, etc) is located outside the US. It is a scam. They are not law officials, they are not a law firm, they are not even licensed to work in the US. They do, however, have multiple agencies attempting to locate them for International Fraud!Two of my employees have been hit with this scam. They called them at home with threats of arrest, kidnapping, etc. They even threatened to arrest people who had been listed as references for the $3000 loan that neither of them had taken out. Both of these calls happened at different times, about 2 months apart. The biggest problem with their phone calls was... we ARE Law Enforcement employees. LOL!!! So, they are trying to tell us all this stuff about them being from our county and coming to arrest these people and the only people who could arrest them are the people we work with!!! Obviously, we were able to quickly discern that this is a completely bogus and illegal operation. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. They are violating FCC law, FCRA law, etc. But, being in ****stan pretty much makes it impossible for anyone to track them down. Sure, you can tell them not to call. It's not going to do you any good, whatsoever. One of our Investigators at work shared a FABULOUS deterrent. Get an airhorn from Wal-mart. When you answer and it's them, **** the airhorn into the phone. Eventually, they get tired of it and quit calling. It's worked like magic!

I just got this call as well but could not understand his name. He did claim the same as everyone else that I would be arrested as well as my boss at work. They claim to be from some cyber crime division. I am not sure if this is a computer talking or just some guy that never took how to speak English while in school. I tried to call back at the number they gave me multiple times with no answer. I read about the online payday loans and I did fill out for one as well. I have also had numerous places deduct money from my account from these same loan companies that I never aggreed to. I actually had to have the bank freeze my account and will have it closed in 30 days from yes****ay 2-20-2011. Scammers ****

this guy keeps calling my work and cell phone. i ask for his physical address and he speaks in some really messed accent and then has the nerve to say may god be with you. he blocks the number and it also comes up on caller id as 00000. cannot understand the name of company, but sometimes he's a rep and then he's a sheriff. ****** a** is what he is!

That is the same thing that person told me.I hope they don't s**** calling my work.

The guy left me a voicemail saying it was officer Chris Williams from Cyber Crime Unit. Saying that if I didnt return their call.. I was going to get arrested tomorrow morning.This mother***er has called me under a different name and number. He told me his name was Tad Williams and he was calling from an L.A. number.Its a total SCAM!!!They got my info bcuz I did online search for a PAYDAY LOAN!I called my local sheriff department. she said they would never come and arrest me and that this would be a CIVIL case.. so they can take me to court but not arrest *****ey tell you that they place money in your checking account.DONT BELIEVE THEM

I have been receiving threatening phone calls at my place of employment and at home from this number for the last 3 or 4 weeks. This person can barely speak english he keeps saying he is Officer Williams and that i took out a loan for such n such amount and he keeps raising the amount. He also stated that if i didn't call him by today that tomorrow the sheriff was going to come to arrest me either at home or my place of employment.

I just received a call at my work, on my cell phone and at my house stating that I would be arrested tomm. with my supervisor and held in jail for a minimum of two days if my lawyer did not return the call today.  This is a SCAM.  I have received these phone calls over the last couple of months.  I do not know where or how they got my information.  I have reported them to my local police dept.  I blocked my Credit Report with a Fraud Alert, and I filed a compliant with the Federal Trade Commission. I do not know who they are, but if it was a legitmate legal claim I would have been properly notified by the court system and I have received nothing.  And to boot I would****ume the person would speak proper english and they do not.  They call and threaten me.

This dude with a wicked horrible accent just called our phone and left a message saying he was an officer from the state of california and calling to tell us that my husband would be arrested for 2 days and needed to call a lawyer! What IS this?!? Who is this person!!! Is this a bill collector? not cool, collector man..you're not gettin my money THAT way!

I got a call from this number 2063125345 stating he was a sherriff of texas and was sending officers to arrest me

I got a call from this number saying I was wanted in a ****** investigation. The guy could hardly speak english. It was a total scam!!!!
