It was a text saying I received a job. They sent me a fake check and told me to order office supplies.

PLEASE BE WARNED: This company or person’s abbreviation of “BFIA at 2063336169” has been fraudulently and illegally sending seemingly random people FAKE CHECKS in my name and my company name. To date, 3 people have contacted my to say that they received fake checks. The police and my attorney’s office are investigating to pursue charges accordingly. Please be forewarned. DO NOT CASH ANY FAKE CHECKS FROM THIS SCAMMER. PHOTO DO***ENT THE PACKAGE AND CONTACT THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!
