i have blocked them and they keep calling from a different number. Since i own my own company and they wont stop I think I will s**** selling products to them when they call.

they called offering a totally n ude cruise. um, of course! sign me up!

They called my phone claiming that I had won 2 free cruise tickets and that I needed to answer some questions. Don't answer they are just scammers.

Since I just went through the home loan process, I'm going to jump to the conclusion that my mobile number was sold to w***ver uses this number, and to all the other random calls I'm suddenly getting. Whee!

There is a way to sign up for a FREE service called nomorobo to stop these annoying robocalls. My problem is that my landline carrier, AT&T, currently doesn't support Nomorobo because they need to add the Simultaneous Ringing rejection capabilities to their LANDLINE service. I called AT&T months ago, as the Nomorobo.com page suggested, to request they help stop spam calls with this, but after wasting my time jumping through all of AT&T's automated hoops to reach a real person to speak with, I found out they don't seem to care and have no solutions of their own that worked (yes, I even paid extra for one of their products that was supped to help, of course... it didn't!) I suspect phone companies profit from these calls, as others have suggested, so they have no incentive to stop them, and just let us, the receivers of these harassing calls, suffer - and in some unfortunate cases - get scammed. SO, I decided to use AT&T's call forwarding service to make AT&T understand the problem a little better.   After I get a spam call, I enter it into my "call forwarding list" (*63). The number I have dialed in for the call forwarding is: AT&T (Traditional Landline) Customer Service 1-800-288-2020 (I had to use the number "one" in my entry). This way AT&T, who refuses to help stop this problem, will get the next spam call from this number (if it's repeated) instead of me. I'm hoping if they s**** to get the same number of spam calls I get - they'll decide it's worth stopping the problem.

Just got a call from this number. I'm on the DNC list. Getting a lot of strange calls lately. I didn't answer, and they left no message. And I'm on the DNC list, too. I've gotten maybe 8 different, unfamiliar numbers lately that are calling me all the time and leaving no message. When I call them, they **** up or I get a recording that I dialed incorrectly or so****ing.

Got a call . . . some scam I presume . . . I'll block this one manually, too. BTW, please stop criticizing the government for "not doing anything adequately." That statement is not true. "The government" IS us in this democ****. I'm more sick of the critics of government than these ****py calls I get. Why don't you appreciate our federalist type of government and find things to be grateful for?

I got a recorded call from this number . They asked if I would complete a short survey in return for a trip to the Ba*****. The survey asked a few non personal questions based on my opinion. The last question was if I wanted free information regarding an upside- down mortgage or so****ing about loans. I answered no, and the recording then asked the same question a***n. A***n I said no. At that point I ***g up because they wanted me to say yes, so they could get my personal information next.
