Leave a CommentGot a couple of calls from this number today...no one talked to me so I called the number back. It said I had reached customer service and to enter my number if I want it removed from their call list. So I did...recorded message said it would be removed within two day....hope that's true!
I HATE when people call during snack time. Why can't they finish their meal before calling?
A lady just called me from (206)395-***1. She mentioned that she is Marketing for Examiner's Newspaper Offices, she s****ed asking me all my personal details. This is very harrasing. Inform your phone company to Block the Phone Number.
We don't even have the Star Tribune in VA. It's been at least one call a day for 2 weeks.
3 calls on my cell phone. No messages left. Calls placed during evening hours EST.
I went one step further. My company did several thousand dollars of business with Strib a month. Not any more. Now they get nothing. Suggestion for everyone getting these calls is to buy one and only one paper. Go through the paper and find any advertising that you know or have done business with and give them a call. Voice your displeasure with the way they conduct themselves and suggest to them not to advertise in the Strib in the future otherwise they will lose you business.Maybe someday Strib will get the message and put a stop to the harassing phone calls. You can make a difference. My actions alone has already cost them over $17,000.I agree Do the same confront them don't let it pass or they won't stop.
206-395-***1 is the Star Tribune Minneapolis/St. Paul calling and they will not stop I have told them that I do not want any newspaper for many years and that is the way it continues. How do we make them stop calling and calling??? I'm burned out from them already.
This is a marketing call from the Strib.I suggest everyone do as I did. 1) called Strib and complained2) filled a report with the Federal Trade Commision asking for an investigation by law enforcement of both Verawest and the Strib3) called Strib and St.Paul Press and Kare11 tip lines to inform them of a story about the Strib being investigated by Law Enforcement after many consumer complaints to the FTC on there repeated violation of the Do Not Call lawsDo the same confront them don't let it pass or they won't stop.
They call many times a day, Sometime they leave a VM, saying "i will call a***n" other times they just **** up. Finally tried to answer it and no one was there.
I had this same number call me today (206-395-***1) caller ID said it was from VERAFAST as well. They asked for me by name, but as I normally do, I let my ma****e do the talking. They better not call back or they are going to get an earfull from me! Oh, for the record, I haven't subscribed to the Star and Tribune in MANY years!
I have never subscribed to the S****ribune yet I am getting call from this number.
After a week of 2 calls a day I finally answered. "Toni" said she was calling with a "delivery notification." She went on about the Star Tribune sending out a new product to its suscribers in september. She then went on to ask if I was a current subscriber. I told her I was not interested and to add me to the company's "Do Not Call List." She was polite about it said that she would (although it sounded like she was eating so****ing while she was talking to me). So far, no calls. I have never done business with the Star Tribune and my number is on the National do not call list so I have no idea why they s****ed calling me. I recorded my conversation with her so if they call back I'm filing a complaint.
This number has shown up on my caller id three times this week. Never leaves a message. During this same time the number 440-331-4613 with the name Ver A Fast Corp has also shown up. A***n, a message is never left.
This company is rentlentless. Please make them stop calling.
Calls more than five times daily!!!! It is very annoying I can't stand it anymore!
Good to know--let my Strib subscription lapse and I've been getting these odd calls 2x a day. Haven't actually talked to a person yet, but I bet if I do the calls will stop.
I looked up Verafast.com and found they are a newspaper retention company. If you s****ed or stopped service they try to sign you up for ezpay or get you resigned up with discounted rate. I cancelled S****ribune a couple months ago & they've been calling ever since
had a call from Verafast also. didn't answer. i'd like to know why a s*****rib rep would be calling from washington state. sounds phishy.
My caller id shows that the caller is VERAFAST. The man on the other line represents star tribune...allegedly...star tribune is sending out free news papers in september. am on the do not call list, if they call me a***n, i`l ***t them down and punch them in the face.
don't know who it is they say it is a verification from VeriFax. Any information on this company?
