If it was up to me, every person involved in these sorts of scams would be placed in solitary confinement for a decade, with no human contact other than a prop phone which would ring at random intervals and, when answered, would only play that one prerecorded message. And their crime is not merely the money they steal from the dupes. Think about how much human time and effort is wasted, in total, by all of their thousands upon thousands of phone calls. How many minutes have just you, alone, spent listening, sear****g, fuming, in response to their repeated calls?

Called this morning, "Customer Svc" on the caller ID. Answered and a recorded message telling me I could lower the interest rate on my credit card. No mention of what credit card. spammers On the 3rd call, I put them on my phones black list. Nice feature but it only allows 10 numbers. Half full now.
