Claim to be IRS... When I called them back they ***g up.

Ha! Said I owed $5437 from 2013 taxes. Told me to get MoneyGram and send to them or they will have police arrest me. Played along as long as I could....

got this call plus 206-539-5299 with in the last 20 min. a total of 3 calls; claiming to be the IRS. Problem the IRS will not call you, they will send you a hard copy in the mail! this is a scam. These people called the wrong person this time; I have a relative that works for the IRS.

This party called, claiming it was the irs and a balance is due. I looked this up, found this site, and am sharing this is a scam. The real irs does not behave this silly way, so only really dumb people fall victim. Lots of really dumb people?

Received the same call...answering ma****e took it. I had already read about this.

i posted this with #804-661-2173...this # was given on the first 2 calls...but the 206# was on the third my mother received a series of 3 phone calls in an hour....they claimed that they were the IRS and were calling because of 'a lawsuit a***nst *you*' on the 3rd phone call they gave a different number...206-494-0741...i called the real IRS and they told me it was a scam...local police said it was too...hope this helps someone
