Why do you call a friend 18 times. Off & on

They keep calling my work number. I didn't technically answer it but since I recognized it and they typically let it ring 2-3 times cause they know that it will go into voicemail, I picked up the receiver and slammed it down a***n. If there really was anyone on the other end, they hopefully go the message!

This number has called my house 6 times in 2 days and it does not matter if I answer or let go to message they **** up without saying anything.
