10/12/11 - got the txt saying my card ****??? was deactivated - scam

I receced a text message on 10/12/11 saying they were Wells Fargo Bank and that my card had expired and to call this number.

I received a text message from phone number +1 360-608-4839 last night. It said "WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD s****ing with **** has been DEACTIVATED. PLEASE contact us at :206-497-7885.

Text saying my wells fargo card was deactivated. I have no wells fargo account.

SCAM ALERT!! Just got this txt also yes****ay. On 10/2/2011. WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD s****ing with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-497-7885. Plus they also called my business number the day before or the same day. I will have to check on this. Buy I knew this was a scam , because I heard of it going on. Plus I looked for a Wells Fargo card in my files and never seen one. So I called this number 206-913-7903. Said it was not in service. So I responded with "No **** Sherlock.". No response back. Lol Scam!!!!

Got the same text from this number with the following text: "WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD s****ing with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-476-7885." This is a SCAM!! shopping for card numbers, do NOT call and provide your number.

I got the text on Oct 2nd.. and submitted a claim with the attorney general.. Don't call the number it is a cell phone number and probably a scam.. Wells Faro has also been notified.

I also received a text from this about a Wells Fargo card being deactivated. I am not a Wells Fargo customer, so this must be a scam

Received a text from a different number which said to call this number regarding a Wells Fargo card being deactivated. (Don't even have a wells fargo card!)

This is the number that was given to me to reactivate a deactivated cc which wasn't from my bank.
