Asked to enter an extension in order to s**** the call. The extension was so****ing strange: “tic tic tic tic”. My mobile number is not American

The people use this number to sell some service to repair your computer.

Will steal your online gift card. First transaction gets blocked. They call to say they can unblock it. They dont ask you any information from you just a verbal authorization that you bought the card and transaction is blocked. Do you want to unblock it.

I didn't answer it. But after seeing it could be a legitimate Amazon number, I chatted with an Amazon rep who said the call did not come from Amazon.

Caller said I had a $729 on my account and wanted me to give them control of my phone so they could fix my account.

Said my Amazon acct. had $729 owing on "my" acct. I do not have an Amazon acct.

"This is a call about a su****ious charge to your Amazon account in the amount of $729.95..." I checked my bank balances online and no such charge appeared anywhere. This is the 3rd such robocall I have received with this message since October. It is a SCAM, phishing for more personal information.

Caller stated there was a fraudulent charge on my account. I verified with Amazon directly and they****ured me there were no such charges. SPAM.

Said someone was trying to charge $700 on my Amazon account and I don't even have one. They tried to have me download a app called anydesk. I ***g up and called Amazon customer service and there was nothing linked to my email or phone number. Watch out for this number. Its the time of year that the scammed come out in full force.

They said they were Amazon and that someone had made a su****ious charge of about $700 and to then take further actions. I went into my Amazon account and saw that there were no such attempts. Beware of this number! It even said that the call was coming from Seattle, Washington, but I see here that the****ential location is Maryland.

I work amazon.com customer service. We get calls all the time from that number from these guys playing pranks on us..trying to get us to explain ***ual items on our site to them. They do it day in and day out. They use our own call back number to hide behind so that we cannot locate their real number. So, here's my advice...if you get a call from this number claiming to be an amazon rep, **** UP, and call amazon customer service at 866-216-1072 to speak directly to a real rep, then ask the rep if amazon is trying to reach you for some reasson..if we see on your account that more information is needed to process an order, or do a return, or verify information,, then feel free to give us the info requested. The only way you should give out information is if you call us back on the direct number I just gave you so you can be 100% sure that you're speaking to an actual Amazon.com rep. and not a fraudster. A***n, this 206-***-4051 IS a VALID amazon number but there are fraudulent people hiding behind that number s****ing it, so if you get a call from that number, it's either us or them. Noticed a missed call from Seattle, WA, so I decided to check it out on Number Guru-looks like it's Amazon Customer Support, and I weird that I am currently experiencing issues with Audible. However, I never noted that I wanted to be contacted via telephone. So this was definitely unsolicited/not a requested call.

I just got a call from this number on my cell. Unfortunately, I missed the call but they left a message. It was a woman asking for a Michael( I don't know any michaels) and saying that I couldn't take off time from work for my daughter or so****ing like that. First, I'm a girl who is 13... I got another call from a completely different number area code and all asking for mike. They left a voicemail also. weird huh?

this phone number is a frank caller keeps calling amazon just to ***** the agents. there are 2 people using this number one ***** female and one ****** guy  wasting time for nothing
