Leave a CommentYes. "Mike Smith," obviously Indian, wanted to ask about diabetes insurance. Insisted he was Mike Smith. Told him the dog had diabetes but was old enough for federal veterinary insurance.
The guy had a very heavy east indian accent and told me his name was Mike Smith. He wanted to give me a free Bell cell phone in exc****e for my birth day and driver's license number. Sounds like iden***y theft to me.
Received 3 calls from telephone number 206 653 0249 today claiming to be a Bell Representative.I've notified Bell of the call and of the number. Hopefully they actually do so****ing about it...
If Bell knows its a scam, why don't they block the number ?It is a major agravation...
Called by this number promoting Bell Ca***a cell phone programs. When presentation completed and agreed upon, demanded either our SIN number or a credit call number.Considering we have been customers of Bell Ca***a for over 45 years and the Ca***ian Bill of Rights, we would not provide the requested information. After persistant attempts to induce us to provide these numbers we had no choice but to end the discussion, despite the fact we felt this was a good deal. DO NOT PROVIDE THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION.
It was a telemarketing call trying to push Bell Solo products. They call at least once a week. Last week was the final straw, and I asked Bell to stop it. This is the reply from Bell:"I wish to advise you that we have received a number of reports aboutthis. These calls seem to be coming from overseas and appear to be ascam. Our security department is currently investigating this issuesince it affects our company's name and reputation. We would like toask for your****istance in our investigation. Kindly reply to thisemail and provide us with more details on these calls you have received."So its a scam. Report this to Bell ASAP.
They call my house, ask for "the home owner mr. or mrs. blablabla". The last name they gave was somewhat close to mine but was not my last name. I asked for him to repeat it just in case he was seriously mispronouncing my name but a***n it was somewhat close but not my name. I tell him that there is no one here with that name and then he asks me to verify that he dialed my number. I've dealt with telemarketing criminals before and this guy really gave me the feeling that he was trying to get me to say the word "yes" over the phone so they could edit the conversation and then try to bill me for so****ing I never agreed to. So I answered him by saying "you have called my number". He then asks me to confirm that I am not the person he was asking for. I responded by asking him "Who are you?" at which point he quickly said "Thank you very much for your time." and ***g up on me.
ANOTHER from them?? I am glad I didn't answer. Boy they sure ARE pushy!! They won't leave me alone! I don't want their ****** TV and internet! I already am with another company and they are so pushy! If they were not pushy I would answer but they just do NOT take no for an answer!!
I have been getting multiple calls every day from this number. I am a night worker, and these twits wake me up at least twice a day, often more. As anyone who has ever worked nights knows, it is difficult enough to sleep in the daytime without pointless, useless telemarketer s***bags waking you up all the time. As far as I am concerned, telemarketers ought to do humanity a favour and voluntarily slit their own wrists. It would certainly improve the gene pool! I called the number back and got a guy with a pretty heavy accent that was a bit hard to understand. I did tell him to quit calling because I work nights and I am tired of being wakened up for nothing. He was at least polite (uncommon for the pseudo-lifeform known as telemarketers) and said he would take my number off the calling list. I will believe it when I see it. Or, rather, when the annoying calls stop.
repeated calls person doesnt speak **** ups
have called 11 times through-out the day. i have answered every time, but they are not saying anything?
