Got a call from this number which I didnt answer. I never answer numbers I don't recognize. I just go online look it up and see if legit or not. Much less aggravation.
Woman called stating that my computer was sending weird signal. I asked what was the name of the company and man refused. I ***g up.
multiple calls from that number, but no one on the other end of the line and no voicemail

Woman called stating that my computer was sending weird signal. Total scam.
Tons of Spam from this number and many others in the last 2 hours all leaving voice mails claiming to be some loan company wanting to verify funds and account info. All spoke with Foreign accents, some hard to understand some spoke English well. Lots of noise in the back ground.
simple-they are all crooks and cowards
I just received a call from 206-777-1016 and a guy (sounded like an Indian) s****s telling me that for the past several weeks my computer was sending a strange signal through the internet and it was affecting national security in Washington?? He said my Windows operating system was infected and causing this problem. At this point I told him I didn't know what his scam was but he should ***** himself and ***g up. I don't even use Windows, I use Linux and love it. I also had disconnected my internet service a few weeks ago and piggy backed on my neighbor until I had Fios installed a few days ago. The Caller ID shows WASHINGTON. I****ume they do that to trick you into thinking it is a government call from Washington DC
I got a call from a male stating that my name was put into the national immigration system and that there is a lawsuit a***nst me. I laughed at him because it was almost 9:00 pm when they called. he put me to his "supervisor" after hitting some number keys in my ear. Funny the "supervisor" who sounded like the original caller said his name is Steve Brown and had a very strong Indian Accent. He said that he was from the US DEPT OF TREASURY in California. I called him out because I am a law student and I know that they will not call at 9:00 p.m. The number is linked to Washington not California. He told me I would pay the price tomorrow morning. What a joke.
THIS NUMBER BELONGS TO an individual, card services has used his number for thier call. I gave the gentleman this web site to report it too.
CREDIT CARD & BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION PHISHER! Do NOT give them your credit card or bank account information! I have received numerous calls from this number. Sometimes this number will be a real person with a strong Indian accent trying to intimidate you into paying some fic***ious overdue debt. Other times it will be a fraudulent automated message claiming to be a credit union or bank (the company varies) and telling you to press "1" to be connected to their "security department". After doing so you will be prompted to dial your credit card number, exp. date, security code, bank account number, etc. (a***n, it varies from call to call) Sadly I am sure there are many (less savvy) individuals who have already fallen victim to this scam... DON'T LET THEM GET YOU TOO!

(No I didnt) I tried yelling at him that i want removed from there list and I am not giving them any info over the phone and he said No this is real we want to give you money. I said Take my number off. he ***g up. I blocked the #
Thanks for the info, didnt answer
Idiot scam artists... feel free to give them similar instructions as I did in telling them exactly where to go, how to get there, and what to do when they get there.
This number is a scam. They called (automated voice) stating my visa/debit card was deactivated and to enter in my 16 digit account. I ***g up and reported them to the bank. Called the number back and it states the number is not in service.
looks like an information mining. Recording stated that my debit card was deactivated, to enter my account number in order to reactivate. There were no other menu options to confirm the organization. Attempted to call the number back and it could not be dialed. I am certain this is not a legitimate operation!
Called my cell and it was a recorded message saying my debit card was frozen. Hit 1 to unfreeze and now enter your debit card number. This person should be arrested.
PS...all of the calls of this type have been heavily ****ese accented.
The caller tried to convince me that he was from Microsoft and that my computer is infected and wanted me to download a "fix". He could not tell me how he knew this information...my operating system, my ipaddress..he took a stab at Windows XP, but that is not my OS. OOPS...I am also a network engineer for over 20 years...oops...called him on it, and he has not called back. However, I have had similar calls in the recent past, but never fall for it. They will download software onto your system that WILL give them control.
