Leave a CommentLike everyone else i gotta call from "Troy Russell" and this ***** said i had a payday loan and s****ed SCREAMING in the phone cuz i couldnt hear between his indian accent and the noise in the background that either i settle it out of court or its gonna cost me $8k to get out of this and im goin to jail. i then asked for paperwork proving what he was saying and he couldnt even give me a name of the loan place, so i said ya take me to court and he ***g up b4 saying u just made the biggest mistake of your life. So now i was ****ed and called back and played along and he gave me a fax # and wat to say and this was all for $378!! and he also wanted me to write payment PLAN on the fax to continiously debit money out of my acct....YEA O**** This was a wk ago and hes STILL calling me....now that i seen all of this wait til this P.O.S calls a***n im going to snap!!!!! Thanks every1!
I got a call from Daniel Fox with US Financial Crimes Investigation Department. He was looking for my sister who apparently had gotten a payday loan at some point. I simply told him, "I do not have a contact number for her and to please remove me as a resource in trying to track her down" and then ***g up. He called back and left a threatening message stating so****ing like I will be held responsible for this lawsuit. He has a ridiculously heavy Indian accent. If anyone gets to talk to him, give a big FU from me! Thanks!
got a call from Troy Russell...when I sked for his address to send a cease & desist letter he completely ignored my request! Said he's from the federal crime investigations bureau. I asked repeatedly for the calls to stop as they are maiking situations in my home worse & explained I'm caring for my dad who's terminally ill, he responded ny telling me to get a pre paid card, load the cash on there & also fax to him a notorized letter stating i promise to pay over $3000 that I ddnt even borrow & to also write on the letter tht i ddnt mean to make this debt. Was also told that i was going to be arrested either from my home or job & if I ddnt pay, it'd be forwarded to the courts, I told him to forward it, thn ***g up...he called back 5x's...so i made a point to call him repetaedly until it seems they blocked MY call! but the next day the calls continued, i continue to save the messages with hopes of someone being able to help me soon..they called from +052569163, told me to call them back @ 206 801 3409
I got a call as well from these idiots. It came up on my caller id as +052569163, but they tell me to call back a seattle number 206-801-3409. My girlfirned got the same calls a while back and the voice is the same. He told her his name was Rick Andrews and told me he was Mike Williams. His accent is very, very thick indian. He said is company is Financial Grant company and yes, that I owed them money and he would destroy my reputation and my credit if I did not pay. the thing that really bothers me is he has both my and my husbands complete social security numbers, all our addresses and emails as well as family members. this scares the heck out of me. I've reported it to the local district attorney as well as the state attorney general.
Recv'd call from Troy Russell, Marcus Polo, Jerry Martin from "Federal Crime Investigatos." They are a bunch of scam artists from middle-eastern ethniticity! We actually called our local PD and contacted FBI regarding this matter. According to the FBI, these scammers are just "fishing" for information which is technically not illegal. Once you s**** conversating with these criminals, it is obvious they are VERY unprofessional and they are using "American" names. They threaten to come to your house, throw you in jail, take you to court, but for some reason cannot provide a valid street address for their company in Sierra, Washington. We thought it was amusing so we called them back and decided to harrass them for a little bit....it is pretty funny when you can just call up letting them know you are returning their phone call and pose as "Elizabeth Taylor" or "Tom Cruise" and they will try to say you have a case file and they are looking for it. The number of people we spoke became annoyed with our never ending phone calls to them and ended their conversation by either ****ing up or telling us we are "dumb F****** Americans!" At one point, they asked my husband to stop calling them and apologized to him saying it was a big mistake. They do have caller ID, so they blocked my husband's number. FYI, if you let them know it is illegal to pose as any type of federal government personnel and call back they will c****e their name to "State Crime Investigators." What a bunch of *****S!!
I just received a call from Troy Russell and he also stated that there was a fraud case pending a***nst me and that I needed to get back to him asap or I would loose my job, destroy my reputation and credit rating. he even had the last four of my ss#. Does any one know who this guy is? and what company does he really work for? He also said he was from the " Federal Fraud Investigation Bureau" Not sure what to do know? Thank you everyone for posting
Just got a call from an "Eric Foster" that stated that there was a fraud case pending a***nst me and that I needed to get back to him asap or I would loose my job, destroy my reputation and credit rating.***, he even had the last four of my ss#. I am sooo glad that I googled this number. It takes a load off of my mind. He also stated that it would be in my best interest to get back to him immediately. When I did call, all circuits are busy at this time, was all that I got. I won't be calling a***n. I wqill call AT&T and let them know what is going on. Thank-you to everyone for posting.Mindy1951
I just got a call from that "Erick Foster" guy this evening. When i heard so****ing about fraud, and a pending case, etc, i decided i had better google the 'callback' number, and make sure it wasn't some BS scam. Sure glad i did!
I never answer my phone unless I know the number, well I got a phone call on my cell phone from a unknown number and let the voicemail get it and then listened to the message...it was a middle eastern guy telling me that I had a lawsuit a***nst me and said so****ing else but I could not understand him but I did hear the number he wanted me to call back on 206-801-3409...I did not call back instead typed the number in my browser and clicked on this website...lucky for me I did cause now I know I am not the only one that this has happened to, and I now know he is a phony. This guys name was John McCor****..he did not say what company he was with if he did I couldn't understand his gibberish.
He also told me his name was Troy Russell (as someone specified previously) and he told me word by word what to fax him, as well as he asked me to fax him my debit card number...Yeah right! like I'm going to really do that. Usually when you owe a debt, they do not tell you to fax them your credit card number, they have you pay Western Union. What scares me though is the fact he had my social security number. Yes people payday loans are trouble, I've had a couple and I'm sure that's how they got my information as well. They could off easily sold my information, or someone could off just hacked in and stole my information.
they have called me and my dad numerous times, these people are fakes, they have your name because you did so****ing on the internet whether a payday loan or so****ing like that. dont pay them any attention just tell them you are going to have your attorney all them and to stop harrassing you or they will be sued or jail time. threaten them and fight fire with fire and watch they will stop calling..its really hilarious because they sound so ******!!!! LOL LOL with the heavy accent and urgency to pay them! LOL LOL i hope they are stopped soon because they also had me and my dads work number.
About 4 months ago i get a call from this guy saying that i had to appear in court the following day because i was being sued for money laundering from a Fast Cash company. He stated that i would have to pay $5000,at least thats what I picked up because i could barely understand his thick accent. Long story short he calls today stating that his name is Phil Garner, and he is calling from Federal Crime Investigation they also called my job and harrased my co workers, it is so embarrasing because like I told "Phil Garner" I do not owe $5000 to anyone, I never received any money.Somebody, anybody PLEASE HELP.
This is weird, they kept calling my job saying they are with the federal crime investigation. can't understand them i'm told. a woman calls but wheneva i call a man answers saying*****o. i played like i wanted to place an order, they wanted my name and address right away. I asked them if they were this certain company the guy lied and said yes, knowing that i made this company up. i guess i asked too many questions so he ***g up. tell me what business would answer you with*****o and not addressing their business/firms name and who they are??? the thing is, is that i have a home phone and answering ma****e and they never call my home. wow!!
I am so glad I googled this phone number (206) 801-3409 because I just received a call from a guy with a heavy accident his name was "Eric Foster", yeah right!! Saying that charges were being pressed a***nst me for a payday loan. The first thing that clued me in that it was a scam was if charges were being placed a***nst me by the Feds it would have been hand delivered to me and he also was reciting to me what I needed to write down regarding payment and fax it to him. I did have a payday loan and I'm sure somehow he got my personal information off their website. Take my advice, don't ever get a payday loan, bad news!! I certainly have learned my lesson.
It is sooo easy for anyone to get the last 4 digits of SS# and address. Someone may have even worked for a company/bank ect and sold peoples info!!! If you were really being sued they will mail it to you!!! And it is also very easy to get peoples info if they do owe stuf on there credit!!!
*** they call me all the time & yes it is Fraud, let your local police know about it because AT&T has a case filed a***nst them for letting these people keep the phone numbers for fraudulent calls!!! I just ***g up with "John" from this number 206-801-3409 and told him off. Anyone can get the last 4 digits of youer social and your address!!! I keep the number and every once in awhile call them giving them sh*t!!! They get angry, its hard to understand them but funny!!!
Got a call, too. It really upset me. Like you said, they said they were from either Estate Collection Companay or The State Collection Company. At first I thought maybe it had so****ing to do with my student loans, so I called back. Said I was being sued for fraud, said they couldn't give me the phone number of the company they were suing for, because it would be defamation of character?!? What the heck? I couldn't understand half of what they were saying, and they kept calling me mister (I'm a girl). I tried contacting the company mentioned by them and all my emails come by as undeliverable and there's no phone number or address on the website. I was upset about this all day, thinking I really did forget to pay off a loan or so****ing. Thanks for your posts, they were helpful. If they are a real collection agency, they could be in big trouble for claiming to be someone they are not. They only claimed to be a legal firm when I called them back, but the person who ansered the phone only ansered "hello", and did not give a business greeting. Weird.
I got a call from this guy named Troy Russle he said he was from the FBI and that I was going to go to jail if I didnt pay him $500.00. It was hard to understand him. He kept saying I needed to pay this soon before it goes to court. He said someone is pressing charges on me for fraud. He said that if I did not pay this I was going to jail for fraud.
Yes I just got a call just like what you described. The only thing that through me off was he knew information about me. I could not understand a word he said and he couldn't even answer my questions without waiting to read so****ing off a screen.
I got a call from this number - threatened that if I didn't call back, I would loose my job, reputation and Social Security number. HA! What a bunch of idiots - DO NOT fall for this. Do you really think that the Federal Government would be calling you about a crime and/or debt? Sounds like a bill collector trying to be sneaky...If this really was so****ing Federal - you would received registered mail at the very least, if not a summons or warrant. "Officer" Ross Taylor -couldn't even understand him with his think, Indian accent. I'm sure there are numerous Ross Taylor's in India....
