Called us about owning the IRS, saying to pay, or be sued. Told them I knew they were a complete scam, and I was looking forward to the lawsuit. They cussed me out and ***g up on me.

they were rude, insistent and very frightening. Claiming to be the IRS...lots of noise in backround, the worker offers her/his "Badge number". They demanded I stay on phone and even asked me exactly what I could send them TODAY. I stalled to say...I'd have to discuss with a family member who's a lawyer....they said "Oh no - no good - so we'll definitrely be suing you before Christmas ! Sick, evil scam. I was very upset.......until I knew FOR SURE it's a HOAX....IRS never calls people like that, they write to you over time etc.... These people should be arrested - homeland security should be told about them..........

Received call this morning from 416-152-5827. Caller ID showed Ontario. Left message that the IRS had been trying to contact me and this was my final notice before 'lawsuits filed'. Left the number 206-855-5827 to call back. The message was not spoken professionally or even correctly.

Received a voice mail directing me to call this number. Said it was IRS and that Internal Revenue Service had filed a lawsuit a***nst me and that I should call the 206-855-5827 to get more information. The caller id for the originating call was 845-193-8644- obviously a s****ed number. I'll admit it did get me concerned for all of a few seconds, but a quick Google search revealed that it was a scam. So, yes I will pay that bill as soon as my money comes in from Nigeria.

Number on call ID was 436-152-7632 AND 436-052-3632. Called twice. Left a voicemail stating IRS was filing lawsuit a***nst me.
