Its the AFL CIO. Chances are good someone in your household is a union member. They want to know who you are voting for, then they try and convince you to vote for who they want. What I do is find the president of the local chapter's home phone and call repeatedly with nothing but Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up playing loud as*****.

its called for the last 3 days and when i answer it its either dead air or it has been ***g up. i called it back and it was about a public opinion poll.

4 times today in Sutton, Ak. Plus some 000-000-0000, other weird numbers and unknown callers. A dozen or so all together. It wouldn't be so bad if I felt good but I have that cold/flu and I just want to sleep. I don't want to turn off the phone unless a kid needs to call me. I'm calling MTA tomorrow and complaining about this.

I keep getting phone calls all day so far 6 times and its nothing but queit on the phone. I asked if there was someone there and no reply. I am in Wasilla, Alaska

No message.  The recorder picks up, the **** up.  Have called 5 times today (20/25/2010).

It's a polling number.  They got *really bad* during primaries and are back.  The calls and ****s up are very annoying and make me want to vote a***nst who ever is the source for my annoyance.  These calls should be illegal.

Its called twice today. BOTH TIMES - it rang twice then stopped.So I haven't answered it and don't have any other Info.(206) is from Seattle is all I know.

Survey for AFL-CIO - I did the do not call thing.They replied that they would "try, but no promises" :(

calls 6-7 times a day! no message dead air if i pick up

Dead air call last night, then a rude request for my wife followed by a ****-up when told she wasn't home.  Sounded like a boiler room background. will probably just block.

Received multiple calls per day over the last few days. However when the call is picked up there is dead air.

Have not had a problem with this number until now, but today they called me several times. I called them back one time and a ma****e message said so****ing to the effect of "we called you to have you answer an opinion poll. We are sorry if this has inconvenienced you." Obviously some sort of CYA bu***hit. They call over and over a***n, and ***ody ever speaks.

Ive gotten at least 6 calls from this number since 11 this morning, its getting really annoying.

Keep getting calls from this number several times a day.  Never any message left...but constantly calling.  Calling the number back leads to nothing but dead air...not even a ring or message saying this number doesn't receive incoming calls.

Called about 7-10 times last night, for awhile every 10 minutes.  Messages left where just background noise.  Called the number from my work phone today and there was a prerecorded message saying they called about a public opinion poll.

Lots of calls this evening from this number; couldn't find anything else on the internet, so posted here to help track frequency, etc.

This number has called three times this evening.  No message left.  I didn't bother to call back but thought I would track it on the internet.  This was my first stop.
