Do not go through with any of this, It is most definatly a scam. We have to try to put an end to this, no luck on local police, AT&T is making big money from these calls and will not try to put an end to it. Operaters are to act like it is a ligitiment transaction. This all really ****s for w***ver card they are using, imagine if it were you? Or if you actually sent the $2000.00 to the so called shipper? Wraskey LTD wanted to order food from our business for 300 people, we emailed back and forth, then I recieved a credit card number and it actually worked, but who's to say that the money would be there in 3 days when it is supposed to be credited to our business account? another name we got was Carl Hallen and email at [email protected]. Please do not go through with this. We are located in wyoming.
Any clue where this is from?
He used the operator to****ist.Wanted a quote for a walk in freezer. Wanted the price immediately without giving me details. I had a feeling he was a scammer and googled the name.
This all sounds so familiar! I got a call on Monday from this guy needing equipment- couldn't get all the information he needed so got an email address to get all info needed to quote. He needed to answer detail questions, size, etc. but his answers were too ***ue. After a number of tries, we finally got him a quote and were told ..charge 1/2 to his credit card and add $3500 for his company manager. RED FLAG! My concern prompted me to Google! Glad I did! This is so strange! ! ! ! ! What is this game?????
This call came in under AT&T's hearing impaired line, so an operator was made to verbal tell me what this person was typing. They wanted food for 300 for an event in March - I got their email so I could communicate with them and get more details. After receiving my menus, I got an email back with what menu they wanted to order. After I sent over a proposal, this person "Wraskey Hallen", emails me back - never using the phone a***n - and tells me to charge the entire amount and add in $1850 for the "Shipper" - who was the handler for this order. RED FLAG So now he wants to give me a credit card, charge about $6800 on it and then go to the nearest Western Union and send the "Shipper" a wire for $1950.00. So here it is - a twist on an old scam - this is also done with apartments that sound too good to be true and the current tenants are in Bolivia working with the Red Cross, blah, blah, blah. So the m**** of this story is beware of so****ing that sounds at first really good, but then turns ****.
