Leave a CommentOkay, I've been getting these calls too, as have some of my co-workers, but the number is somewhat different. It's (702)-520-1477
I've been getting the auto warranty calls for about 3 years. They never stop. So when I feel like taking the time I wait for a live person and tell them my car is a Maxwell. This throws them and takes up their time because they don't know what it is. When they get around to asking what year I tell them Maxwell made cars from 1930-1936. Then they **** up on me. But at least I'm wasting THEIR time now.
Automated voice says warranty expired, press 1. First time, I ***g up. Second and third times I pressed 1 and told them not to phone a***n, and to put me on their Do Not Call List. They ***g up on me. I'm sick of it and plan to press 1 a***n . . . this time to scam them back.
same extend warranty automated call - after trying to talk to someone they offered to take me out of the database - i am already in the fed do not call registry and asked for company name and number and "andrew" ***g up.
i am digging into this further i will post what i find out, i never give up hehe

i just got a call from them saying my car warranty was about to expire, i was like umm its a 2006, i think i have a few years left. they said nope its about to expire. i was like what car are you talking about. they ***g up. This is defently a scam!
also on the do not call list...i have no vehicles anywhere near any sort of warranty expiration. filed compliant with the donotcall website.
Same thing here with the auto warranty. Call came in like this 442074032824 I figured it out as 1-207-403-2824 and found this forum. I called it back and it says all lines are busy, try a***n later. Any of you have Vonage? Seems alot of these calls we get came in after we signed up with vonage. Level 3 is vonages carrier AKA US GOV SPYING ON YOU!!!!
I am on the Federal do not call list they said my auto warranty was about to expire. Then only warranty we had expired 1 year ago. The first time they called I hit the number to have my number removed from their list. The second time I called I waited for a real person and when I asked for the name of the company they ***g up. If you try to call the number back it says it is not in service. I had asked the phone company about this and they said computers can generate any number to show up on caller id, because I have it set up not to allow numbers without names.
recorded message, about the car I am driving having a warranty about to expire. People are standing by to help extend it. I also get similar calls (not sure if from this number) saying things about the credit card I have, so am thinking it is a means of getting people to give over more info. None say which vehicle, nor which credit card so thus, a perfect opening to ask all the details they want. Also does not state who is calling, person nor company. Beware. Be Wise.
said my auto warranty was about to expire. Offered to extend.
