Leave a CommentCalled on my answering ma****e Feb. 11th at 1:19 PM - I was at work - no message, have seen this number on my caller ID several times.
Caller had +44 prefix; an internet search showed the number arose from somewhere in London, England. In addition, the voice was that of a female sounding quite American. The call involved lowering "my interest rates to 6.9% and the offer will expire very quickly." It then asked you to press "1" to talk to an operator, or "2" to disconnect. This was on my answering service. Scambags..
I too had the call - this is my first one. It did not have the prefix 44 - but I can tell you that is an international dialing code - it is for the UK - I am from the UK and typically if I am dialing there I have to dial 011 44.I answered the telephone but there was silence on the other end.
Got a call from this number on my cell -- Caller ID said it had a +44 prefix.
Primaries tomorrow and there have been a huge number of unidentified calls coming in and when I answered some of them, they were for Huckabee.
Received the phone number on my caller ID as unavailable. I didn't answer it.
