Leave a CommentI received 2 calls on 7/21/09 from them as well. Don't know how they got my number as it is on DNC list.
Scammers, automated calling system. Our office as sequential phone numbers, I hear it ringing around the office every 30 seconds or so.
"Gold Zone" has been calling our offices for about three weeks now, at about 5-6 calls a day. I have pressed 9 to be removed several times, it doesn't work though. The caller "ID" has showed up as "Account Support" and "Simple Services" (new today). I have spoken to an agent a number of times as well. They promise they will remove me, but they clearly havn't. I traced the number, it's comming from Portland, Maine. Can't get the real address though. I live in Texas... it seems that "Gold Zone" is calling all around the USA though. I've had more than enough of them. I've reported to donotcall.gov, and nothing has happend. Any tips on how to get them to stop?
They've called our cr**** hotline number twice now. I dialed 9 to be taken off their list, but it did not seem to work.

Just got a call from the Buy Gold people. Held on to talk with a live person. After she finished her introductory schpiel I told her this was a large ninternational law firm (truth) and that they were in voilation of federal and state law (Not sure) I asked that our entire plan of 200 numbers be removed from their robo-dialing computer. We'll see. These s***-of-the-earth weasels should be completely barred form this practice. I know of no sane person who would ever go along with this offer. Like someone said earlier just when the auto warranty weasels taper off these weasels s**** up (with aplolgies to actual weasels, everywhere)Die telemarketers!
I have now gotten 4 calls at my work phone number which is not published anywhere. Twice I have called back the number and it is an automated "Do Not Call List" where you press one to be removed or so****ing- which I have done. The other two times, I press 1 during the automated message to speak with a representative who doesnt even give you a chance to say anything while they go into their long, scripted spiel. I interrupt and tell them that I dont appreciate unsolicited calls and they must remove my number from the list. The first guy asked for my number and said hed have it removed. The second person just ***g up on me. I really hate these unsolicited calls and it seems like the "Car Warranty Offer" calls have only just stopped and now these other calls have popped up in their place. I want a way to make them REALLY stop. I heard that by even pressing a number to speak with someone, suddenly your phone number is now more "valuable" to sell to another company because it is considered "live" or "active" because there is a person who actually listens to the options. If this is the case, how can I REALLY be sure to get my number off?
telemarket spammers using fake caller id and try to sell some gold jewery BS. called me twice already. sick of it!!!!!!how did they get my number. once they have your nubmer they will keep calling if if you press the number to remove. stop they ****** ball s***!!!!
Dialing ma****e to my work direct dial. Gold Zone. This is the 2nd call. Last week I hit "1" to be connected to a Gold Zone dealer, and asked to be removed. No luck, fresh dialing ma****e call today. This time I hit "9" to be removed, and the ma****e seemed to just **** up on me. I am keeping a log and looking for places to complain.
Same thing here...they called my work number trying to buy gold. It came up as "Account Support" on clr id. I pressed 1 for the representative, let her go through her whole sales pitch, then ***g up on her.
I just called the number back and it says "If you'd like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1" I did and it said it will take 24 hours. We'll see.
They've called my work office at least 10 times today and several times on other days. Always a recorder talking about selling gold.
I just received a call from this number as well - on my work phone which is an unlisted number. I pressed 1 to speak with a representative. I said this was my work line and I did not want to receive anymore calls. She said she would remove my number. I then asked how they would have gotten the number, but she had already ***g up on me.
It was the Gold Zone - they called me at work to buy my gold. Unsolicited calls at work should be included in the DO NOT CALL LIST rules.
I am a parent my child was asleep, and I am irritated by this ****** computer calling me! How dare they! Who would ever patronize such ill mannered merc****ts.
got a call from this number about 5 minutes ago. It was a robot trying to sell gold. Interesting thing is the number they called is a private number, behind a set of switches. Sounds like a randomized robodialer. The spiel was buying gold.
Got a call from this number going on about getting getting paid cash for jewelry.
Pressing 9 did not work for me. Got the same call twice already.
Called four times at a University number...either with a way too cheerful witch selling so****ing Press 1 to talk to us Press 9 to be put on the do not call list. Other 3 times just ****ing up.
they called and never left a message
This company buys gold; they called me at my work number, which is an internal number, NOT on the phone book.I pressed "1" to ask them to get this number off their list, and as soon as I stated that they had called my place of employment they ***g up.
Another hit. My firs**** s****ed playing its automated message before I answered, and I only heard so****ing about ...a percentage rate, and press Foo to talk to a representative or Bar to be put on their do-not-call list. Wait five seconds. ****ed up.Return calls do not identify the company, and offer to be put on a do-not-call list.
I have gottem several calls from this number, when I am away and never any message.
