They called me and telling me that I was "selected" by the US grants department for a $5,000 grant. They acted like telling me my phone number and address was enough to verify them as legit. They asked for a bank account number or debit card number so that they could transfer the funds, but as soon as I deny them my bank or card number they said "oh well your loss" and ***g up.
The guy who called had a foreign accent. He wanted to talk to my wife. When I asked who is calling he called me an SOB and ***g up
They keep calling me and telling me that I was "selected" by the US grants department for a $5,000 grant, but they **** up on me if I say I can't understand what they are saying!
Total Spam call about the Government Grant Department.
Some dumb**** called, couldn't speak English but tried to convince me we'd met in my hometown and spent the night together. Seems the fool was trying to get me to say the word "yes" ... that was why I kept asking him what State he was calling from. He had no idea and kept trying to get me to "remember" the night we were together. There is such a thing I found years ago on the FBI website called "Scam Baiting". When I have time, and the call is free, I will engage them because the more time they waste with me, the less time they have to scam other people. Anyway, my gut feeling is he wanted me to say the word "yes" ... it probably would have been edited to so****ing else giving them authorization for whatever **** they are trying to pull. I hadn't heard this one before so maybe it's a new twist on a scam??? Because of that and the fact I was never asked for any personal numbers or told I had won a prize I think it's a new scam and I'm going to post this on every page I can find. Oh yeah, I also tried to call it back through my PC using Google phone that only shows as a number calling from S. California....tried 3x but no answer. If there had been an answer I would have tried to jack them around a bit. I try to **** them off enough with their own style of abuse so they hate me and take me off their list... LOL So much for a Friday night of fun!
these atr crook dont give any info to them
