A man called yes****ay to renew my LHJ subscription. I told him that that the original subscription was a gift and...well, before I could finish he ***g up on me! Today a woman called from this number and my young daughter had picked up the phone. When the woman asked me about renewing I told her the same thing, it was a gift and that I wasn't interested the first time. She then asked if there were any magazines that I was interested in. I said no, that I'm too busy for that. She then--GET THIS--told me that she hopes I re***n an interest in reading for my daughter's sake because lite**** is important. **** her! My kids are excellent readers and just because I don't read magazines for 5-minute dinner recipes or stories about someone who is staring in some lame show I don't watch, does not mean I do not encourage reading.

Called at 11:30 a.m. CST. I was not at home, but when I came in my elderly mother was giving out her credit card number to them! I grabbed the phone and asked who it was but they ***g up. My mother said they had told her they were "renewing Ladies Home Journal". I tried calling the number back but it would not accept incoming calls. Since she said she had given them her credit card number, I cancelled the credit card, but these are definite scammers.

208-476-2028 is a telemarketer that will Harass you with constant phone calls is you do not pick up the phone when they call . We are on the Do Not Call list and have informed then not to call . They become bolder and call more . Can any one help us get these calls to stop ?

They just s****ed calling us . We do not answer them any longer. We are on the do not call list and have reported them. It seems that this company just gets bolder and increases the calling.

This is a spammer / scammer . They call day and night . We are on the do not call list . But this doesn't matter to them . Help...

They have called in the morning and s****ed their nightly ringing us and ringing us . They do not leave any message when requested .

calls several times a day has been repeatedly asked not to call. I'm on the do not call list too. Today I a***on asked them to remove me from their list and not to call a***n they had called many times today alone. The guy on the other end say oh i'm going to call you back a***n just for that.

Called several times per day. Answered 2 weeks ago and told the gentleman to place me on the do not call list, as the magazine was a gift subscription. He said, Oh I understand OK. Monday received another call, this time a woman. S****ed to say, quite irritated, that I already requested NO further calls. Just heard, "I'm not taking this today...click". Just a few minutes ago, another call. Lady was not wanting to put us on do not call list because my husband was "not asking politely". He was raising his voice only because it took him saying it 4 times for the lady to understand him! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Called my home number numerous times.Sometimes no answer the other time a girl just said she couldn't breath and ***g up?

My solution was to buy a digital phone (Dect 6.0) which has a "do not disturb" function so the phone will not ring and will go automatically to voice message. And it also includes a function that allows you to block unwanted calls so when they call a***n the call is automatically terminated.My strategy is to block all the "unknown" callers (I have caller ID) and leave them blocked for several weeks. Eventually they give up when they do not get a ring. Then I clean the phone log so I have room to block the next batch of illegal calls (my model allows 20 blocked numbers, I wish it were 100). I am on the federal do not call list but clearly that is ineffective. Alas, the government can do nothing to help us. So I have to work at it but at least I have some peace from the phone harassment.

I am on the Do Not Call List.  Obviously these people suffer from a mental defect as they call at 7:00 a.m. 1:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m for weeks now.

Those (insert ***** insult here) just keep calling several times a day, how do you report a company for this kind of harassment?

Persistent ****-ups from telemarketer. Calling three or times times per day. If you call the company back it will not connect.

They are some company selling magazine subscriptions. They call me 4 or 5 times a day! Its really annoying!
