Asked if I knew about the recent purchases on the account. Never asked for any other personal information. Said scammers are asking for purchases from Amazon and wanted to know if I personally knew the friend. Said, ‘No’ and asked they should cancel purchase. I said go ahead and when I looked into the Amazon account the purchase was cancelled.

Caller mentioned authorizing purchase of gift card from Amazon. When checking my Amazon account there was a fraudulent purchase of a gift card emailed to [email protected].

I have no idea what this woman wants, because she talks too fast, slurs her words, and sounds like she's eating while she's speaking!

Claims order placed for $100 gift card. Had my name and last two digits of my card number.
