I applied for a property for rent online and I was contacted by this number and sent a text. He emailed me as well. The house was listed far below value and was trying to get me to send a deposit without even viewing the property or having the keys. He claimed to be a civil engineer whose family was relocated and they are trying to find the right tenant for their house.

He offered a house in Northboro, MA which was too good to be true. He was insisting that I have to send 300 as a down payment before he sends the keys. Claims to have apartments for rent requires deposit and the property doesn’t exist or is occupied

I responded to a for rent ad and got a message from this number. The persons name is supposed to be Michael Arens. The property is supposed to be located in Utah and the owner was supposed to be living in another state due to a job transfer. The address is 381 e Logan Ave, SLC, UT 84115

The guy who had this number said his name was ***e. He took $1500 from use for a house and blocked our numbers

number was claimed to belong to a Mr. Adrian Perez in Lemon Grove CA with a home available for rent which I found in a listing on Craigslist. if anybody has more information or has reached a conclusion on whether or not this is truly the person using the number, or if it is a scammer, please comment so others can know as well.
