I received a call from this person stating that he was with amazon and my account was tagged as someone was trying to use my account to buy a iphone 11 for someone in North Carolina and they noticed that I never send anything to North Carolina (I live in California). So I need to c****e my account number. I did that, I did not tell him what it was c****ed to and stated my name and address and email, so it sounded legit. Then he wanted me to download some kind of app that would give him complete control of my computer and I said no way you must be a scammer. I called a legit amazon customer service person and he said they have been hearing of this happening and amazon will never call you but you will receive an email
