I received a call from this number on my cell phone but was unable to answer because I was in a meeting at the time. When I tried to call back on a land line I got a message about the number being disconnected. The other messages about it being from WHMC may be relevant because it's possible that it might be a line for the "robo-caller" for reminding us about appointments, because I know that I do have an appointment there some time later this week.

This is a generic outgoing line for Wilford Hall / Bamc (which comes up on CID as BMAC because the phone company has it wrong).  it is not being abused for the most part it is people reminding you of apts or test results- it could also be a friend or someone who works at lac****d or fort sam houston calling you-  like someone said there is a generic outgoing line.  no matter who calls me from FSH its 221-1111 and always says 'bmac' no matter where on post it is- same thing with wilford hall it always comes up as MCCA BIM M PHONE on CID with the above number.  by law they cant leave certain info on a ma****e- if its just an apt reminder they can but anything else they need to talk to you.  call 916-9900 (CAMO) they will be able to tell you if someone just tried to call you - hope this helps :)

Got called by them a few times already, my caller ID says MCCA BIM M Phon. I tried to search it but couldn't really come up with anything!

Just got a call form this number at 7:30 am.  So i googled it and got to this site.  i called the number back, but received a recording saying it was disconnected.

I just got a call from this number. They called on my cell phone.  Only family members have my cell number so I am thinking that this is a telemarketing scam even though others have said that it is a WHMC or BAMC number.  Whatever it is, it is annoying and a distraction.

Caller ID said BMAC not BAMC.  No message left and when I call the number back, it gives a disconnected message.It's probably someone sending out a fake caller ID, like a telemarketer.

by the way my husband nor i have ever used base hospital...we are not military nor have we had to be on base for any reason...

well obviously someone is still abusing the phone system on base....is it a courtseyline... that number my husband got a call from 210 222 0727 it said it was a disconnected # when i called it back....

Got a call from this number.. turns out i had called someones cell phone who is employed there.... She used that line 210-222-0727 to call me and screen why i had called her cell phone.

I get this # too w/no messages.  U can call the #, but it saids it is disconnected.  I have learned that it is from BAMC b/c I have called them right after the call and they say yes they tried to call, but left no message.  It is my coworkers calling from the floor to give me messages or to cancel me for working that night.

Appointment verification system used by the Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall USAF Hospital system in San Antonio, TX.  If you are called by this number, it means that your phone number was listed as a call back number for appointment verification.  If you are annoyed by this number, simply answer the call because it will only acknowldedge a 'human' voice and can differentiate from a digital voice, such as an answering ma****e.  Once answered, it will ask for verification of the patient by birthdate, not name. By acknowldeging the call and providing either a negative or positive reply, the system will reset itself and notify the provider that contact was made.  This should stop the phone calls.  If your phone number is the result of a 'typo', the system will continue to call your number regardless, until the appointment is completed, canceled or the phone call acknowledged, whichever comes first.  BMAC is probably a typo by the caller company and should have read BAMC instead.  IT IS NOT A TELEMARKETING SERVICE OR BILL COLLECTOR.

Anonymous call 3:30AM CST. Semi-perverse, clearly a lonely guy with nothing better to do! Number call back says disconnected and appears to be a TIme Warner number. TWC shows it as an****igned number that was never activated.
