Dr. Fernando Avila - Pain Management/Anesthesiology If you like narcotics, then this doctor is for you... if you value your life, then don't see him... has had many problems with his "style" of practicing medicine(maybe that's it...he is practicing) don't take my word...check out his record at the Texas Medical Examiner's website! In Texas, it's public record... you will be shocked! If your a ******, then he is perfect for you! He will write prescriptions for any and all narcotics...I'm not exaggerating... I got 1600mcg Fentanyl lollipops for my back pain (these are supposed to be for terminally ill cancer patients), along with Oxycontin, Oxycodone IR, Dilaudid(hydromorphone), etc...all were the ****mum strengths and for the ****mum quan***ies that could be legally filled! What did I get in return? Well, I got several years that I can't remember, and a serious case of drug addiction...took a while to detox, and get my ***in and body back to normal! Now I see a legit pain specialist, and am doing really good... wow... Seriously though, he should not be practicing medicine... please check out his record at the Texas Medical Examiner's website!
