I have an ad on Craigslist in Houston and this person emailed me with this message: Is it available ? Text me on 210-446-7995 with your final price . Thanks Jerry Apparently they are sending the same message to everyone. I'm sure they are a scammer trying to get your phone number. Tired of these sicko's!

How do they get your information once you only text them? Please let me know? I know not to give address or except money or cashiers check but with the number what can they do? Online it says they are from San Antonio, Texas

Yes I received a phone call. Can you tell me what they do to purchase things of yours?

Same response as others. Also couldn't pick up item himself and wanted to pay with cashier's check.

If you get a text from this guy named "jay" ignored and reporte it spam or fraud. It's a scamm. Here is what he wrote this morning: "I'm interested in the listed ad , Text me back on 210-446-7995 with the final price" Thanks Jay

This number was given, with a dozen replies to online ads. Texas number emailing about 10 ads in the north east. Has to be scammers. Signs email as Jay.
