[Note: I was unaware that this was a scam call, hence the reason I even answered and inquired.] When you first answer the call, a recording will begin to speak and say “you have been issued an arrest warrant—yada yada yada, woopty-woop.” And will ask you if you’d like to be transferred. Once transferred, a man who sounds middle eastern/Arabian will say he’s from the social security administration. He will then ask you how he can help you (but NOT ONCE DOES HE EVER TELL YOU HIS NAME —if you don’t ask first.) If you say that you received a call from this number saying that a warrant has been issued under your name, he will confirm and say “yes, a warrant has been issued under your name” (which is bullsh*t?) and he will proceed to tell you it’s because someone is using your social security number in a random BS state. In my case, he said Texas. I asked what his name is and he said “Jack Miller” ? After mentally registering all of this information, I grew su****ious, so, I asked Jack if he could tell me my name. Pause. Let’s review. #1. Jack has fixed his chapped lips to say he’s calling from a govt agency but hasn’t properly identified his self to me confirming his verbal credentials with the SSA? & #2: How do you know if & where my social security number has been used but never confirmed ANY of “MY” information? Let’s continue… Jack ***g up. The End. ?
