person called asking for kenny pena had no knowledge of such person asked who was it they said wrong #

Caller dialed our 866 toll-free number and ***g up without leaving a message.

this guy calls and ****s up from this #.  He called my 866 # and stated a bunch of bs and then said he couldn't hear me.  don't answer this call.

We have received a lot of calls from 212 2017278 in the call center where i work, they always wanna fly from or to Bogota, Colombia. They always call with different names and use differents credit cards to pay incredible fares. They don't care if we just have first class, they pay USD 30,000 without any problem. The thing is, we believe is 'the same people with acces to credit cards information'...Scary doesn't it?

I tried calling my toll free number 1-800-*******X the number from my cell phone (not from USA). The number displayed on my screen was not my cell phone number but 212-201-7278. I guess the numbers outside USA display this number.

Caller had a strange accent - I am guessing African or Middle Eastern.  Asked for someone who didn't work here.  Said he knew she was here because he talked to the FBI in the helicopter and that he "hopes I don't lose my job".  Funny thing is, the name he gave WAS a person who USED to work here.

Using conference calling cards to make phone calls, we are getting charged for them..

Guy from Ghana calling our office from this number trying to buy 10 laptops with a stolen credit card.This is a routing number and does not originate in NYC like the 212 area code suggests.

This phone number is a bridging service that hides the real phone number. I get calls that originate in Ghana that are ghosted  with this phone number from a guy that tries to buy laptops with a stolen credit card.This number DOES NOT originate in Manahattan as the 212 area code suggests.

Called my 1-888 number 9 times in an hour.  Also, got an email today saying my 800 minutes are low.  Coincidence???  Who knows?

Got a call on our toll free number early this morning. Left no message.

I had 9 calls on my 1-88#. My carrier said they were collect calls to my number. No way, we do not accept collect calls in this office. Query: why would someone make a collect call to a 1-888 which is toll free?

Ive got calls on from 212-201-7278 as well as other numbers from east coast on my toll line. This idiot said he was from Ghana. I told him not to call and get stuffed now going to block his number.

I believe this number is a NY routing number for people calling a toll free number from abroad (Plaetec NY1). There are legitamate calls coming through this routing system. As many know, it is generally not possible to call a US toll free number from outside of the US or Ca***a. Clearly, scammers can use this system to contact people in the US (and apparently Italy) and block their originating number. As with all things, continue to use your better judgement and protect yourself by blocking any****entially unsafe or unwanted numbers through your service provider.

They speak with an apparent Nigerian accent and put a small child on the line. They ask for you Email. I could not make out the rest.Does New York City have any child endangerment laws?

I get a fax call from this number to one of my voice lines, not sure which since 4 numbers, including my 866 number forward to my cell.

Received a call from this number on my 800 line. After viewing my call details, it shows that the originating number for this call was from 425-224-1546. This (212-201-7279) is probably a dial around number. I simply went into my settings for my 800 number and blocked both of these numbers. I haven't received any calls from this number in over 3 weeks.

They called our company trying to speak to the CEO. Refused to say how they were and what they wanted. Said they would call back. Caller ID read Plaetec NY1

Trying to sell yorkie puppies, but wanted me to wire the money first.
