Seems there's a rat in a nonprofit organization seeking to get those who give to quit giving by consistently bugging past and present donors with annoying phone calls. If you're a present or past donor to ABS, give them a buzz and let them know what's going on. Call until your annoying calls end, but don't quit giving if you do now. It's a worthwhile organization.

Calls all the time with no message. Called back and told them I am on the do not call list and to stop calling. They appear to be a bible donation thing of some sort. It's been over 30 days and they still call.

This telephone number consistantly calls all hours of the day and no one is ever on the other end. On another site it is listed as a habitual spammer. It is quite annoying and I am listed on the do not call list.

They've called 5 times this week that I know of . I answered each time to ***ODY on the other end. SO I called them back to tell them to quit calling. I got a recording saying they were DONOR CARE CENTER calling on behalf of American Bible Society. They gave me the option of pressing "1" to opt out of future calls, which can take up to 30 days. Let's see if it works. I also filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

They have called 6 times. Today at 4:17pm and ***g up just as I was about to pick up. What sickos they are, cowards for not telling who they are and what they want. We have folks in Texas who could "put an end to these idiots if they could find them ... otherwise: DON"T MESS WITH TEXAS

Got one this AM, it's a donation service and this was from American Bible Society wanting me to donate.Hate that I had to tell them not to call me especially when I already supported them with a contribution nottoo long ago.

Phone rings, I answer, they **** up. When I called back the message said "If you no longer want to receive calls from Liberty Council please press 1 to be put on the do not call list."

It's not the American Bible Society (well, at least not today anyway!).  I just called them back and the message I got is that it is the Donor Care Center for Liberty Council (or Counsel).

Donor Care Center on the behalf of American Bible Society, press 1 to be removed from their list...and added to the DO NOT CALL LIST, which I am already on!   THe recording said it could take up to 30 days to be removed from their list.  Oh yeah, I want to make a donation, please, pleae call me back...it may take up to 30 days for me to make a donation.  Yeah right.

Received 20 calls from American Bible Society. I will be calling the NY Attorney General to complain.

Informed young man that wife just got out of surgery, other times informed them she is busy, same afternoon called back and I mashed the ****on to talk then the bottom to ****up as if I was saying stop calling. Hope they got the message. Other wise I'll have to report them to our legal beagles. They won't like that. We're also on a national don't call list.

call the number back, and select "1" when prompted to be added to the American Bible Society Do Not Call list. That will take care of the problem.

at 9:00 pm I received a call. When answered, I heard sounds as if it was a telemarketer, I paused to allow the person to speak, when no one spoke, I said*****o, can I help you it is 9:00 pm, no response

Sounded like a telemarketer, could hear lots of people talking in the background. He asked for the person who was the previous owner of the number which is now mine.

I do not do business with Level 3 Communications and am on the Missouri Do Not Call List, but keep getting calls from them that go to my answering ma****e. Thanks to this site, I now know who it is and can report them to the Missouri Attorney General for violation of the Do Not Call List. Thank you very much.

Just received a call from this number and they ***g up when the ma****e picked up. This has happened several times. Can't the phone company track them down and stop these nuisance calls?

They called twice.  I hit the call ****on from the caller id screen and called right back.  A woman answered and told me she didn't call and her phone has been in her pocket for six hours.  I told he I was calling back the number that came up on my phone and she denied it.
