Leave a CommentThis number is connected to Damaris Lopez www.Damari*****z.com and number 212-252-3700, which has already been posted here. "....and the constant rented ****es in different locations, also not having a legit business and being very ***ue in information and rushy. It is truly a sign that they are not legit. Do you research, craigslist is full of scams. Hope I can help by passing the knowledge."I survived the scam as well. I rented my ****e to a nice couple for their holiday in new york city. Damaris Lopez then used my ****e for her scamming casting agency, and I have had countless women coming to me that they paid Damaris money and she disappeared. It has been a toll on my business and a complete disaster. Do not trust these people. I feel sorry for all the women and men that might have already given their money to her and been stranded without a job or information. They have tried to ***ke into my voicemail, used my ****e without approval and violated the regulations of my ****e, and scammed all these poor ladies. If you visited Damaris Lopez in NEW YORK CITY on Norfolk Street in August 2010, GALLERY, the permanent business there, Damaris is not****ociated with the gallery at all and please do not come here looking for her. If you want to reach her, you can try the number above (her supposed boyfriend's phone)
WOW!!!!!! IT'S REALLY SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to a casting call on May 13th which I believe is a SCAM..Right off the bat she told me I needed a portfolio and said that they do them for $350..She asked me to have them done today..When I told her I couldn't afford it, she asked me if I could get them done soon because they had a lot of work.I told her I wouldn't have the money before next week..The earliest. She then asked me if I could leave a deposit for the photos. which I also declinedShe also kept asking me if I had an agent or if anyone represented meNever once did she tell me her name or give me a card..she Just told me to come back on Monday when I had the money.Today the lady called me back. I let it go to voice mail. The message says."Hi, I just wanted to confirm your appointment for today at 12:00pm for the models at 300 park ave. Please give me a call back at212- 252-3700"
Sooo I didn't do my research until after leaving this woman's office but I knew so****ing was amiss when she asked for $300 cash within 5 minutes of my arrival... then decided that since I didn't have the money she could meet me on c**** street tomorrow so I can put down a "deposit" for online listing and pictues with their "premere" photographers lol luckily I was not born yes****ay and she got ***a lol I love how the first thing she did was show me some old beat up louboutins that she got from a show they worked and some abused versace coat was ****ing on the door ... anyone with a scam like this can rent a 1 person office on park ave. How do you have an office with out an office phone? Was she really just using a **** cell phone. While I was there she rushed through everthing and had no real answers to basic questions ... like what is your name ? What is the name of your company? How do you know a client is going to book me ? Lol really ... how can you not have answers for this ... according to her thecompany is called casting for web ... she just kept stressing how she was doing a job for macys and a few s*** shows.... so it seems her lies aren't very consistent. Why would you only be able to take cash .... and she was pretending to give me a deal ... as if she was doing me a favor ... horrible ladies and gents watch out for this woman. When she called me she sounded like she was busy, but in reality she had someone else that she was trying to scam and she only answered to sound legit -- I know because she did it while I was there. Sigh ... well I will continue to make more submissions ... hopefully I don't run into anymore ****py people that are just pretending. The icing on the cake was that she wouldn't shake my hand when I was leaving. She raised her right hand and said "how" we'll do it the indian way. Talk about disrespectful. This woman needs to be arrensted or so****ing. At least I had a nice day in the city
Did you call them back?
I got the same call from a craigslist posting. The other number they have called from is 347-722-***7. They would not say what the job was for. They asked me to go to 14 Wall Street. Hope adding this info helps. Super glad I googled this.
That crazy..i got the same call,, lucky I researched before anything because I wasn't sure where she was calling from and got to the website reading all these comments on how its a scam. Glad I didn't waste my time. Thanks guys!
This lady is a rusian Scammer her suppoused name is Madison. The call I got was from an unknown phone telling me to meet her for an interview at 300 Park Avenue on 50th St. She was very rude and not professional, she is short stature, medium weight , red dye straight hair, medium lenght and very temperamental. She ask for $220 on the spot and in cash in order to "send out books, shipping and handling material and a ****e on her website"modelcasting.com" which was a fake not published website. She said she was on her way to Macys to meet the client and so if you can send me your pictures I will take them with me. Her****istant a Puerto Rican girl called "Damaris Lopez" try to persuade me and accompanied me to the ATM to get money...unbelievable!She is a scam not one who wants to hire you for a job will ask you money in advance, also the unknown number and the constant rented ****es in different locations, also not having a legit business and being very ***ue in information and rushy. It is truly a sign that they are not legit. Do you research, craigslist is full of scams. Hope I can help by passing the knowledge.
